Hand held snake snare

A hand-held snake snare comprises an elongate hollow rod with a bracket mounted on a proximal end. The bracket mounts a spindle coupled to a motor for rotation of the spindle, which carries a length of cable. A power supply powers the motor to rotate the spindle and shorten or lengthen the unspooled portion of the cable. The rod mounts a block at the distal end and the cable passes through the hollow rod and out an aperture of the block. The free end of the cable is then attached at the block, such that a portion of the cable exiting the rod forms an adjustable loop. A switch connects the motor to the DC power supply, thereby turning the spindle to shorten the third portion of the cable forming the loop, such that an animal can be captured within the loop as a circumference of the loop is reduced.

Chute for immobilizing animals
09578852 · 2017-02-28 ·

A chute for immobilizing an animal (e.g. cow) wherein the chute during a hoof-trimming operation or the like. The chute is comprised of an inner wall and an outer wall and a front and rear gate. The inner wall has a rectangular opening near the front thereof with a backing plate having a hole secured over the backside of the opening in the inner wall. A removable pad is comprised of a rectangular frame which fits in the opening in the inner wall. The frame has a flexible cover (e.g. anti-microbial material) secured over its front. An inflatable bladder (e.g. pneumatic inner tube) is inserted through the hole in the backing plate and is positioned within the frame and behind the cover. The bladder is then inflated whereby the bladder expands to produce a pillow-like support for the cow's shoulder while the cow is in the chute.

A pet harness apparatus may include a vest configured to be removably adhered to a pet body. The vest may include a vest interior surface and a vest exterior surface. The apparatus may further include a rigid elongated member, a first attachment mechanism and a second attachment mechanism. The first attachment mechanism may be disposed on the vest exterior surface and the second attachment mechanism may be disposed on the rigid elongated member. The first attachment mechanism may be configured to be removably attached to the second attachment mechanism to enable removable attachment between the vest and the rigid elongated member. Further, a rigid elongated member longitudinal axis may be perpendicular to a pet body length when the first attachment mechanism may be attached to the second attachment mechanism.

Method and Assembly for Displacing Animals in Vegetation Subject to Mowing or Cutting
20170006772 · 2017-01-12 ·

A bee displacement assembly provided as a mowing machine with a direct drive operated fan housed inside a housing formed with a funnel leading from an interior space of the housing and terminating in a mouth. The funnel tapers both horizontally and vertically to the mouth such that the mouth approximates a narrow, widened slot. Powering the motor turns the drive shaft that in turn operates the fan, creating a concentrated stream of air inside the fan housing that is channelized in the funnel and emitted out the mouth at an area of uncut vegetation immediately prior to cutting by a cutting deck of the mowing machine.
