SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ANIMALS

Disclosed are a method, system and apparatus for controlling the movement of animals, and in some aspects, the virtual herding or steering of animals over large areas of land. In some aspects, the animal is steered towards a desired region when the animal is out of the desired region. In some aspects, the animals is steered away from a steering region when the animal is within the steering region. In some aspects, the animal is steered towards a reference, which can be made to move along a path, thus leading the animal along the path from a starting point to a finish point. The method, system and apparatus disclosed reduce the need for fences or the use of personnel to manage the animals

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ILLUMINATING LIVESTOCK
20170290124 · 2017-10-05 ·

A control system for illuminating swine having one or more controllers configured to increase voltage supplied to a first plurality of lights to a first threshold voltage to illuminate the first plurality of lights to provide a first light having a first color characteristic that affects swine. The one or more controllers are also configured to increase the voltage supplied to a second plurality of lights to a second threshold voltage to illuminate the second plurality of lights to provide a second light with a second color characteristic different than the first color characteristic. The one or more controllers are also configured to increase the voltage supplied to a third plurality of lights to a third threshold voltage to illuminate the third plurality of lights to provide third light with a third color characteristic that stimulates the swine to have a predetermined behavior.

UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE FOR GENERATING GEOLOCATION EXCLUSION ZONES OF ANIMALS

An unmanned aerial vehicle for determining geolocation exclusion zones of animals. The unmanned aerial vehicle includes a processor-based monitoring device to track geolocation information associated with an animal from the unmanned aerial vehicle, an identification device mounted on the unmanned aerial vehicle to identify the animal and to track a position of the animal over time, and a mapping device coupled to the monitoring device to determine locations where the animal has traversed and to identify where an encounter with the animal is reduced.

Pet chew toy assembly

A pet chew toy assembly including a body having a first component, wherein the first component comprises a thermoplastic, a bone meal, and an antler powder.

Digestible noise-emitting toy

A physical toy comprising a body and a digestible noise-emitting device. The body may have a shape conducive to physical manipulation and play and may be compliant to facilitate compression. The noise-emitting device may be carried by the body. The noise-emitting device may have a noise-emitting orifice. The noise-emitting device may be configured to force air through the noise-emitting orifice in response to compression of the body. Compression of the physical toy body may cause noise generation as air escapes through the noise-emitting orifice. The noise-emitting device may be formed from a digestible material.
