Leash training device and a method of using the same to train a domesticated animal
A leash training device embodying a non-invasive and non-threatening method of using the same to train a dog is provided. The leash training device may include a liquid sprayer having a housing forming a handle portion and a leash assembly. While grasping the handle portion so as to manage the dog on the other end of the leash assembly, the liquid sprayer is adapted so that the user may discharge a jet of liquid from a reservoir secured within the housing. The method includes discharging the jet at or on the dog engaged in bad behavior.
MUSIC PROVIDING SYSTEM FOR NON-HUMAN ANIMAL
In order to achieve a music providing system capable of controlling the behavioral state of a non-human animal using music, this music providing system for a non-human animal is provided with: a state information acquisition unit for acquiring state information relating to the motion state of an animal of interest; a state estimation processing unit for estimating the current behavioral state of the animal of interest from the state information; a target state storage unit for storing information relating to a target behavioral state for the animal of interest; a sound source storage unit for storing multiple music information pieces; a music information selection unit for detecting the degree of divergence of the current behavioral state from the target behavioral state and selecting one specific music information piece on the basis of the multiple music information pieces stored in the sound source storage unit; and a music information output unit for outputting the specific music information by wireless communication or wired communication to a speaker provided within a region in which the animal of interest is present. The music information selection unit performs the processing for selecting a different specific music information piece until the degree of divergence becomes a first threshold value or less.
BENEFICIAL APPLICATIONS OF UVA1 LIGHT
A light engine that produces UVA1 light, but not UVA2 or UVB radiation, that will provide a human or animal subject a beneficial application of artificial UVA1 light without the deleterious effect of the UVA2 and UVB light. Methods of providing UVA1 light to the human or animal subject over various periods of time provide positive treatments that can reduce stress, reduce anxiety, increase a pain threshold, and induce interferon production. Exposure to UVA1 wavelength light (360-400 nm) provides a positive effect on both humans and animals. This is especially true when the humans or animals do not receive UVB and UVA2 at the time that the UVA1 light is received, and the ratio of UVA1 light to (UVA1 light+visible light) is greater than 10%.
Device for deterring animals from resting on furniture
A device to deter an animal from resting on furniture having a seating area comprises one or more sections of a rigid half-tubular form to be placed on the seating area, backrest, arm, and/or side of the furniture wherein the sections have a combined length to span approximately a width of the seating area, backrest, arm, or side. The half-tubular form can have the shape of an inverted half-cylindrical shape, a rectangular shape, a triangular shape, or a non-uniform relief shape wherein flat edges of the form are placed on the seating area, backrest, arm, or side of the furniture.

Animal training transmitter comprising detachable finger button
Disclosed is an animal training transmitter according to an embodiment which communicates with an animal training receiver by wireless communication, the animal training receiver worn on an animal to deliver stimulation to the animal, the animal training transmitter including a finger inputter which is worn on a user's finger and including a button, and a transmitter body including a receiving portion and a button, the finger inputter being attachable to and detachable from the receiving portion, wherein the transmitter body is worn on the user's body, the finger inputter is connected to the transmitter body with a cable when detached from the receiving part, and the transmitter body transmits a stimulation delivery signal to the animal training receiver by wireless communication in response to the button of the finger inputter being pressed while connected with the cable.
AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTABLE DEVICE FOR AFFIXING TO THE NOSE OF ANIMALS
The invention relates to an automatically adjustable device for affixing to the nose of animals, which may be used simultaneously for administering medicinal or non-medicinal substances and/or for collecting and transmitting information about the animal by means of onboard sensors, the device being composed of a flexible support body and a pair of adjustable members that are connected by a system of swivel joints, allowing the articulation of the members in all directions. The system of swivel joints enables the adjustable members to automatically adjust to the wall of the nasal septum of each animal, which affords greater comfort and offers a larger area of contact between the face of the adjustable members of the device and the nasal mucous membrane of the animal.
Animal grooming station with safety release
A pet grooming station includes an electrically actuated separable coupler mechanically coupled between a tether point and a lead to a collar or a noose. At least one wired or wirelessly coupled pressure sensitive mat is adapted to sense a presence of a person or an animal on the at least one pressure sensitive mat. The electrically actuated separable coupler is in a coupled state when the pressure sensitive mat senses the presence of the person standing on the mat. Or, when the person is no longer standing on the mat, the electrically actuated separable coupler separates. The electronic controls of the station can be programmed to provide a predetermined or selectable time delay in a range of about 0 to 2 seconds before causing the electrically actuate separable coupler to separate. An upgrade kit or modification kit for existing pet grooming stations is also described.
Remotely controlled tournament steer
The present invention is a motor driven tournament steer that comprises a front frame and a back frame. The front frame incorporates a steer head with protruding horns suitable for roping. The rear frame incorporates roping legs and is hinged to the front frame. When two ropers catch the steer head and legs, the heeler roper lifts the rear frame, a switch is activated, and the motor stops. A timer simultaneously stops. The motor is started by a remote controlled switch.
