Disclosed is an apparatus for lifting and positioning four-legged animals, in particular dogs, comprising a main frame to be placed on the ground or floor, and a lifting device (2) supported by the main frame. The lifting device (2) comprises a vertically positioned or positionable column (3) that includes a vertically adjustable lifting cross-beam (4) and bars (5) which project from the lifting cross-beam (4), preferably in an orthogonal direction, and which support a mat, a cloth, a net or a plurality of straps acting as a holder for the animal.

Also, an animal training system further includes a remote controller to control the animal training apparatus, wherein at least a portion of user input or functions of the remote controller is reconfigurable by the user. The user may reset, reconfigure, and reprogram the control logic of the animal training apparatus or the user input of the remote controller, or various functions provided by the animal training system.

An animal garment comprising a central portion including a front end configured to be proximate to the head, a rear end, a first side extending laterally in a first direction, and a second side extending laterally in a second direction. A first flap extends from the central portion, the first side, the second side, or a combination thereof, and a second flap extends from the central portion, the first side, the second side, or a combination thereof. The first side, the first flap, the second side and the second flap are configured to extend around the mid-body of the animal and form a shape conforming to the outside of the mid-body of the animal when the garment is worn. The garment is configured to apply pressure to the animal to reduce anxiety, fearfulness, overexcitement, or a combination thereof.

A system for animal caretaking with an animal-mounted audio playback device, a sensing device for sensing the proximity of the playback device with respect to a specific location, a smartphone with a GPS receiver, one or more wireless communication systems connecting the playback device, the location sensing device, and the smartphone, and a smartphone app with a user interface for specifying various parameters for controlling the playback device such that when the caretaker moves a specified distance from the location of the animal, a sound chosen by the caretaker will be emitted from the playback device, and when the animal moves within a specified distance from the location sensing device, a deterrent sound is emitted from the playback device.
