Elk call with internal chamber
An elk call can be arranged as an air flow and aft mixing system, designed to cause the air flow to rotate and mix, creating a surround sound or echo that can create a sonic illusion that can confuse an elk as to the location of the caller.
Bird or bat detection and identification for wind turbine risk mitigation
An automated system for mitigating risk from a wind turbine includes a plurality of optical imaging sensors. A controller receives and analyzes images from the optical imaging sensors to automatically send a signal to curtail operation of the wind turbine to a predetermined risk mitigating level when the controller determines from images received from the optical imaging sensors that an airborne animal is at risk from the wind turbine.
Detachable tracking device for a hunting arrow
A tracking device is configured to detach from a launched projectile to remain in an animal when the projectile proceeds completely through the animal. The tracking device can be attached to the end of an arrow shaft and provide the nock of the arrow. A decelerator such as a barb, an offset fin, or a reverse helical projection is provided to aid in detachment of the tracking device from the arrow shaft as it passes through the animal. The tracking device remains embedded in the animal so that the animal can be tracked instead of the arrow.

Mounting system for animal trophies
Mounting systems and methods, including those for mounting animal trophies, are disclosed. Embodiments can include a ball, a coupling member for coupling the animal trophy to the ball, and a base having a locking feature. The base can further include a bearing seat which is configured to support a portion of the ball and permit the ball to simultaneously rotate about three axes. Embodiments can further include a cap having a retaining feature at a first end and a second locking feature at a second end. The cap can be configured to mate with the first locking feature of the base and form a locked connection with the base. The cap can retain the ball in a position between the retaining feature and the base, providing increased force onto the ball and securing the position of the ball and animal trophy relative to the base.
GAME BAG WITH HANDLING STRUCTURE
A bag is provide for receiving and holding contents at least as heavy and bulky as a portion of a large animal carcass. The bag may configured to be carried by a person and may including a containing portion defining a closed end, an open end opposite the closed end, and a side portion interconnecting the closed end and the open end. The open end may be configured for operation between a holding configuration for holding the carcass portion in the bag and a passing configuration for passing the carcass portion through the open end. The bag may further include a closure mechanism adjacent the open end for selectively closing the open end to provide the holding configuration and opening the open end to provide the passing configuration. The bag may also define a midline between the open end and closed end and further include a handling structure positioned on the closed end side of the midline.

Combination scent rolling applicator and storage container
A scent distribution device having a spherical housing and having one or more internal cavities in communication with a plurality of wicking members. The wicking members dispersed across the exterior of the housing for the distribution of a scent agent. The device including a harness engaged with an axis of the housing, wherein the housing rotates along the axis for rolling across a surface. The device further including a lead line and segregated and compartmentalized storage container.
BUGLE TUBE WITH SCRAPER
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for a bugle tube with an integrated scraper. An apparatus includes a baffle portion comprising a first baffle end comprising a first baffle aperture, a second baffle end comprising a second baffle aperture, and a baffle sidewall extending from the first baffle end to the second baffle end, the baffle sidewall having a plurality of protruding members located about the surface of the baffle sidewall. The apparatus includes a mouthpiece portion comprising a first mouthpiece end comprising a first mouthpiece aperture, a second mouthpiece end comprising a second mouthpiece aperture, and a mouthpiece sidewall extending from the first mouthpiece end to the second mouthpiece end. The second baffle end is coupled to the second mouthpiece end to connect the baffle portion to the mouthpiece portion to form a tube from the first mouthpiece end to the first baffle end.
Scent masking device
A scent masking device for masking a person's body scent while hunting or performing other outdoor activities related to tracking wildlife. The device includes a portable housing having a plurality of air vents, a power supply designed to provide electrical energy to a control panel, an ozone generator, and a fan. The ozone generator is designed to produce ozone when a charge is applied to a plurality of insulated electrode plates coated with trace amounts of conductive materials exposed to atmospheric gases. The fan is designed to expel the generated ozone through at least one of the plurality of air vents outward and away from the hunter, such that the hunter's scent is masked by the expelled ozone within the immediately surrounding region.
