A vial blinding assembly includes a vial having a bottle with a constricted neck and an annular shoulder that inwardly extends; a stopper disposed on an opening of the bottle and having a septum with a top surface; and a retainer securing the stopper to the bottle. A tubular blinding shell encircles a compartment that extends between a first end with an inlet opening and an opposing second end with an access opening. A floor plug is secured to the first end of the blinding shell. The vial is disposed within compartment of the blinding shell with the vial being supported by the floor plug and the neck passing through the access opening so that the top surface of the septum is disposed outside of the compartment of the blinding shell, the shoulder of the vial having an outside diameter larger than a diameter of the access opening.

Integrated cap and seal system

A cap and seal system for a liquid medicament container. The system comprises a cap formed from a substantially rigid material, and has a retention component integrally formed therewith. A seal is formed from a material which is less hard than the cap and positioned within the cap such that, when the retaining component retains the cap on a container in use the seal is positioned such that it forms a fluid tight seal between the cap and the container. A recess is formed in the seal through which a liquid outlet channel can pass in use to access the contents of the container via the cap and the seal.

Closure with liner

A closure for a container is provided with a top portion and a skirt depending from an outer periphery of the top portion. A generally circular rim extends downwards from the lower surface of the top portion. A liner is attached to the closure between an outer surface of the rim and an inner surface of the skirt. The liner is configured to provide a fluid tight seal for containers having varied neck dimensions and/or profiles. One or more projections extend into a space formed between the lower surface of the top portion, an inner surface of the skirt, and an outer surface of the rim, with the liner enveloping and being supported in the closure by the one or more projections.

Securable sampling port for an insulated container

Apparatus and installation methods for sampling ports are disclosed. Sampling ports include a port housing and a lid assembly. The lid assembly is configured to sealably close against the port housing. Additionally, the lid assembly can be secured, such as with a lock, to the port housing. In one aspect, the port housing includes a sample mount arrangement configured to receive a sampling assembly. The sample mount arrangement defines a sampling channel and the port housing defines a sampling opening and a first securing mount. The lid assembly includes a latch arrangement and defines a second securing mount.

Edible cap

An edible cap for selectively covering an open end of a cup includes an edible flat body, an edible wax layer and an edible film. The edible flat body is in the form of a cap. The edible flat body is a solid body including a top portion and a wall extending around the top portion in a circle of a certain diameter to provide a profile in compliance with the open end of the cup. The wall includes an opening for receiving the open end of the cup. The edible wax layer is attached to a face of the edible flat body. The edible film is attached to a face of the edible wax layer opposite to the flat body in a detachable manner.

SAFETY OUTER CAP FOR A CONTAINER

The present invention relates to an outer cap device for a container having a neck, the opening of which is closed off by a closure device comprising a region (13) to be safeguarded. According to the invention, this outer cap device comprises: - a main body (14) intended to be fastened to the neck of the container, this main body (14) comprising an upper wall (18) having an opening intended to be positioned next to this region (13) to be safeguarded when the main body (14) is fastened to the neck of this container so as to leave said region (13) to be safeguarded freely accessible, - a cover (16) comprising an internal face (22) and an inner skirt (23) extending from this internal face (22), the internal face (22) being closed in line with this inner skirt (23), this inner skirt (23) being designed to pass through the opening in the upper wall (18) of the main body (14) and surround the region (13) to be safeguarded when the cover (16) is in the closed position, - holding means for locking the cover (16) in the closed position and allowing it to be unlocked to pass into the open position, these holding means being configured to press the free end of the inner skirt (23) against the closure device in the closed position of the cover (16) so as to form a sealed barrier surrounding the region (13) to be safeguarded, in order to limit exchanges from this region (13) to be safeguarded with the single interior volume of the inner skirt (23).

TAMPER EVIDENT PLASTIC CLOSURE FOR VIALS FOR STORING SUBSTANCES FOR MEDICAL OR PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS AND USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a tamper evident plastic closure for necked vials, for holding a plug in a mouth of a vial, comprising: a tubular locking body configured to be locked at the neck of the vial, and a cap coupled with the tubular locking body. The tubular locking body comprises a retaining member for retaining the plug, a central opening being formed in the retaining member for providing access to the inside of the vial via the plug. The cap comprises a disc-shaped cover and a coupling portion, for coupling the cap with the tubular locking body by positive-fit engagement. The coupling portion comprises at least one frangible portion each configured such that at least one indicator member remains as a tamper evidence at a rim of the central opening of the tubular locking body after removal of the cap from the distal end of the tubular locking body by irreversibly breaking the annular frangible portion for providing access to the inside of the vial via the plug.
