20190002689 · 2019-01-03 ·

Provided are a polyphenyl ether resin composition and a prepreg and a laminated board containing same. The polyphenyl ether resin composition comprises the following components: (1) a tetrafunctional or higher multifunctional acrylate-modified thermosetting polyphenyl ether resin; and (2) a vinyl eresin cross-linking agent, the weight of the vinyl resin cross-linking agent being 40-100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the tetrafunctional or higher multifunctional acrylate-modified thermosetting polyphenyl ether resin. The modified thermosetting polyphenyl ether resin, due to containing a tetrafunctional or higher multifunctional acrylate active group, can cross-link more vinyl resin cross-linking agents. Not only the prepared high-speed electronic circuit substrate has low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, but also double bonds in side chains of the vinyl resin cross-linking agent are reacted completely in a resin curing system, so that the high-speed electronic circuit substrate has a better thermo-oxidative aging resistance.

TIRES HAVING A TREAD OR SIDEWALL COMPRISING RUBBER COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING CARBON BLACK AND WHEY PROTEIN

The present disclosure is directed to a tire having a tread or sidewall comprising a rubber composition including at least one specified rubber, at least one reinforcing carbon black filler, and a whey protein component. The whey protein component is in an amount sufficient to provide about 0.1 to about 10 phr whey protein.

FLAME RETARDANT NUCLEATING COMPOSITIONS AND CORRESPONDING FORMULATIONS FOR POLYSTYRENE FOAMS

The invention relates to environmentally friendly flame retardant nucleating compositions, and corresponding formulations and processes useful for the production of polystyrene foams with low densities and a very low halogen content in the final product. The flame retardant composition according to the present invention achieves good flame retardancy and excellent recycling performances, with about the same loading of traditional halogenated compound, which does not affect the process and the physical and mechanical properties of the final foam and can be considered halogen free, according to some international standards.

LOW DIELECTRIC RESIN COMPOSITION, FILM AND CIRCUIT BOARD USING THE SAME
20180265699 · 2018-09-20 ·

A low dielectric resin composition comprises a low dielectric resin containing acid anhydride, an epoxy resin, a rigid cross-linking agent, a soft cross-linking agent, and an accelerator. Such low dielectric resin can be dissolved in organic solvent more easily than a low dielectric resin without acid anhydride, and the low dielectric resin containing acid anhydride has a better compatibility with other organic components than a low dielectric resin without acid anhydride. A low dielectric resin composition with lower dielectric constant and better properties can thus be obtained. A film and a circuit board using such resin composition are also provided.

Polyethylene films and production of such films

A method of forming a finished film comprising extruding a molten polyethylene comprising a diene terpolymer modifier through a die opening to form a film, wherein the diene-terpolymer modifier is a terpolymer comprising ethylene-derived units, C.sub.3 to C.sub.10 -olefin derived units, and diene-derived units; causing the film to progress in a direction away from the die opening; cooling the film at a distance from the die opening, the distance adjusted to allow relaxation of the molten polyethylene prior to solidification and/or crystallization upon cooling; and isolating a finished film therefrom. Desirably, the polyethylene is a linear low density polyethylene, and the die and cooling is suitable for forming a blown film.

ANTAGONIST OF THE FIBROBLAST GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR 3 (FGFR3) FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OR THE PREVENTION OF SKELETAL DISORDERS LINKED WITH ABNORMAL ACTIVATION OF FGFR3

The present invention relates to the treatment or prevention of skeletal disorders, in particular skeletal diseases, developed by patients that display abnormal increased activation of the fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3), in particular by expression of a constitutively activated mutant of FGFR3.

Thermosetting resin composition and prepreg, laminate and printed circuit board using same

Provided are a thermosetting resin composition and a prepreg, laminate and printed circuit board using same. The thermosetting resin composition comprises a resin component, the resin component comprising a modified cyclic olefin copolymer having a structure as shown in formula I and another unsaturated resin. By introducing a methacrylate end group having a certain polarity into a cyclic olefin copolymer, a modified cyclic olefin copolymer is formed. The modified cyclic olefin copolymer can form a thermosetting material by means of cross-linking with itself or another unsaturated resin, whereby the bonding property can be significantly improved while retaining the excellent dielectric properties of the cyclic olefin copolymer itself. The laminate prepared using the thermosetting resin composition has good dielectric properties, a good peel strength and a good heat resistance, and can meet all the performance requirements for printed circuit board substrates in the current high-frequency and high-speed communication field.
