The apparatus main body includes a common holding member holding a first end portion of the first main body electrical contact and a second end portion of the second main body electrical contact, wherein the holding member is configured to move between a contact position at which the first and second end portions contact with the first and second cartridge electrical contacts, respectively, and a separation position at which the first and second end portions are separated from the first and second cartridge electrical contacts, respectively.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a sheet conveyor configured to convey a sheet, a guide configured to form a conveyance path through which the sheet is conveyed by the sheet conveyor, and a sensor disposed on a same side as the guide with respect to the conveyance path. An image forming apparatus includes: an image processor configured to perform image processing to image data based on a conversion condition to output converted image data; an image forming unit configured to form an image based on the converted image data output from the image processor, the image forming unit being controlled based on an image forming condition; a controller configured to perform tone correction control, density evenness control, and total density control that is combined the tone correction control and the density evenness control, wherein, in the tone correction control, the controller operates as follows: control the image forming unit to form a first test image on a sheet; obtain first reading data related to the first test image on the sheet.

An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of light sources, a light source control unit that controls turning on and off of the plurality of light sources, a first detection unit that detects an accumulated amount of waste toner with respect to the total capacity of the first waste toner container, and a second detection unit that detects an accumulated amount of waste toner with respect to the total capacity of the second waste toner container. The light source control unit turns on one of the plurality of light sources, based on detection results of the first detection unit and the second detection unit.

An image forming apparatus comprising: an image forming unit configured to form an image on a recording medium based on an image forming condition; an image reader configured to read an image for adjustment of the image forming condition, which is formed on the recording medium; and a controller configured to: control the image forming unit to form images for adjustment; control the image reader to read the images for adjustment; determine a target data based on a reading result of a first image included in reading results of the images for adjustment; and adjust the image forming condition, during execution of a job in which the image forming unit forms a plurality of images on a plurality of recording mediums, based on the target data and a reading result of second image included in the reading results of the images for adjustment.

An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit configured to form an image on a sheet based on an image forming condition; an image reader configured to read an image for adjustment of the image forming condition, which is formed on the sheet; and a controller configured to: control, in a case of a job for which printing of the image for adjustment is set, the image forming unit to form the image for adjustment on the sheet, and generate a correction value for the image forming condition based on a reading result of the image for adjustment, which has been obtained by the image reader, to thereby adjust the image forming condition based on the correction value.

The protrusion is engaged with the recessed portion of the power output unit to receive the driving force. When the power receiving unit moves along an axial direction thereof and is in a contact engagement with the power output unit, the protrusion abuts against a front end of the power output unit to cause the power output unit to be tilted and swung.
