Highly flame-retardant organically modified nanoparticle, organic-inorganic composite synthetic resin containing the same and processed product thereof

Proposed are an organic-inorganic composite synthetic resin using a highly flame-retardant organically modified nanoparticle, and a production method thereof. The method for producing the organic-inorganic composite synthetic resin using a highly flame-retardant organically modified nanoparticle includes the steps of: adding and stirring metal ion-based phosphinate, melamine cyanurate, and nanoclay to a container containing an aqueous or oily solvent, applying ultrasonic waves and high pressure energy to the stirred solution to prepare a highly flame-retardant organically modified silicate solution through a chemical bonding, and then adding a synthetic resin to form synthetic leather and foam used as life consumer goods to the silicate solution, processing and drying it.

Solvents and slurries comprising a poly(carboxylic acid) binder for silicon electrode manufacture

A binder solution for manufacturing silicon-based anodes useful for lithium-ion electrochemical cells is described herein. The binder solution comprises a poly(carboxylic acid) binder dissolved in a mixed solvent system comprising an amide solvent of Formula I, as described herein, and a second solvent which can be water and/or an organic solvent. The binder preferably comprises poly(acrylic acid). The mixed solvent system comprises about 10 to about 99 vol % of the amide solvent of Formula I. The binder solution is utilized as a solvent for a slurry of silicon-containing particles for preparing a silicon-containing electrode. The slurries made with the mixed solvent systems have higher viscosity and are more stable than slurries containing the same concentrations of silicon particle, carbon particles, and binder in water as the sole solvent.

Saltwater corrosion-resistant composite coating

A saltwater corrosion resistant composite coating is described. The coating includes at least one conductive polymer, chitosan, reduced graphene oxide (rGO), and a cured epoxy. The rGO and chitosan are dispersed in particles of the conductive polymer to form a 3D network. At least a portion of the chitosan is covalently bound to the rGO. At least a portion of the conductive polymer is covalently bound to the chitosan, and the 3D network is dispersed in the cured epoxy.

The coating formulation can include alkylalkoxysilane, 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyltriethoxysilane, nano-SiO.sub.2, a crosslinking additive, and at least one solvent.

Device for Voltage Equalisation in Square Wave Voltages for an Electric Motor

Various embodiments of the teachings herein include an apparatus for voltage equalization in square-wave voltages of electric motors. The apparatus may include: a terminal board circuit wherein phases U, V, and W each comprises input and output cabled conductors summing to at least 6 cables; and a bridge between two of the at least six cables connecting two or more of the at least 6 cable inputs and outputs. The bridge is partially conductive such that its electrical resistance markedly reduces above a threshold value. The partial conductivity results from filler particles in an embedding matrix determining a reduction of the resistance in the bridge above the threshold value.
