ANTIBACTERIAL AND HEAT-SHIELDING COMPOSITION FOR WINDOW FILM, METHOD OF PRODUCING WINDOW FILM USING THE SAME, AND WINDOW FILM PRODUCED THEREBY
Disclosed is an antibacterial and anti-shielding composition for a window film. The composition contains: 17.0 to 19.0 parts by weight of a monomer component composed of dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate and N,N-dimethylacrylamide; 0.85 to 0.95 parts by weight of any one or more liquid compounds selected from the group consisting of diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide, oligo[2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-[4-(1-methylvinyl)phenyl]propanone], 2-hydroxy-2-methylpropiophenone, and 2,4,6-trimethylbenzophenone; 0.35 to 0.40 parts by weight of 1-hydroxycyclohexylphenylketone; 0.15 to 0.20 parts by weight of phenylbis(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide; 0.04 to 0.06 parts by weight of 2-propenoic acid, butyl ester; 50.0 to 78.0 parts by weight of a liquid heat-shielding agent; and 2.0 to 2.5 parts by weight of an antibacterial agent. Also disclosed are a method of producing a window film using the composition, and a window film produced thereby.
HEATING APPARATUS
A heating apparatus includes a body, a chamber, and a thermal plate. The chamber is defined by the body. The chamber includes an upper region and a lower region. The thermal plate provides heat to the chamber. The thermal plate includes a coating. The coating includes a thermo-resistive layer. The thermo-resistive layer includes a polymeric portion and a nanostructure portion. The thermal plate is positioned in at least one location chosen from the upper region and the lower region of the chamber.
FUNCTIONALIZED SURFACES FOR HOME APPLIANCES
A home appliance, such as a laundry appliance, includes a component assembly with a sensor and a sensor-controlled component for operating the appliance, and a cover for housing the component assembly therein. The cover has an outer surface and an inner surface. The cover includes a functionalized superhydrophobic multi-layer coating on at least one of the outer surface and inner surface. The functionalized superhydrophobic coating prevents moisture from entering the component assembly and attacking sensors housed therein, and has a water contact angle thereon of at least 145 degrees.
Composition, coating method, and multilayer structure
The composition of the present invention includes tungsten oxide particle, inorganic particle other than tungsten oxide particle, and a solvent. The inorganic particle is preferably made of a clay mineral. The clay mineral is preferably bentonite, saponite, or mica. The volume median diameter (D.sub.50) of the tungsten oxide particle is preferably 0.01 μm or more and 10.0 μm or less.

The present invention provides an ionizing radiation curable paint composition which is capable of forming a cured film that has excellent elongation (for example, 30% or more) under heating and has excellent solvent resistance and chemical resistance and which can contain an alcohol as a diluent solvent. There are provided an active-energy-ray-curable resin composition of which a cured coating film has a high surface hardness, high transparency, high resistance to curling, and high surface smoothness; a coating material containing such a resin composition; a coating film formed of the coating material; and a film containing a layer of the coating film. In particular, an active-energy-ray-curable resin composition containing fine wet-process silica particles (A) subjected to a hydrophobic treatment and a compound (B) having a (meth)acryloyl group is provided. Also provided are a coating material containing such a resin composition, a coating film formed by curing the coating material, and a laminated film having a layer of the coating film.
