A knitted fabric panel, composed of a knitted base fabric embroidered as a circular knitted fabric from at least one knitted base fabric thread, wherein at least one zone having a reduced thread volume is provided, the zone being knitted by further threads which by way of the two ends thereof are fixed in the knitted base fabric, at least part of the further threads being thinner than the knitted base fabric thread. The threads instead of the knitted base fabric thread are knitted in a plurality of separate loop forming courses that in the circumferential direction extend by less than 360°.

COMPRESSION PRODUCT FOR THE TREATMENT OF OSAHS

An elastic compression product for a wearer's lower limbs, intended for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea-hypopnea syndrome, the product having a pressure profile defining textile pressures P.sub.B, P.sub.B1, P.sub.C, P.sub.D, P.sub.E, P.sub.F, P.sub.G, P.sub.H, P.sub.I, P.sub.D′, P.sub.E′, P.sub.F′ and P.sub.G′ at altitudes B, B1, C, D, E, F, G, H, I defined in section 4.1.2 of standard NF_S_97_114, and at altitudes D′, E′, F′ and G′ located respectively at 92% of altitude D, at 110% of altitude E, at 126% of altitude E and at 92% of altitude G, respectively, the pressures being measured as the compression pressures of compression stockings according to French standard NF G 30-102 part B, the pressure profile being such that 30 mmHg>P.sub.C>10 mmHg, 30 mmHg>P.sub.F>10 mmHg and P.sub.C>(P.sub.B+10 mmHg).

DYNAMIC ANCHORING USING LOCALIZED ACTIVE COMPRESSION

Anchoring of fabrics for applications in which force is applied by or on the fabric facilitates new uses and functionalities. Dynamic anchoring through any of three modes (mechanical, compressive, or friction-based) enables transient or permanent anchoring across a garment or other fabric.

CONTAINING FABRIC, GARMENTS COMPRISING SUCH FABRIC, AND RELATED PRODUCTION METHODS

The present invention relates to a restraining fabric having at least one stretch portion (4) comprising a plurality of stitches of at least one ground yarn (2) and at least one elastic yarn (5), wherein, next to at least part of said stretch portion (4), a restraining portion (8) extends in which first groups (G1) of one or more first stitches (P1) comprising said at least one main yarn (3) alternate with second groups (G2) of one or more second stitches (P2) comprising a restraining yarn (9), such that at each of said first stitches (P1) a floating length (10) of said restraining yarn (9) extends and at each of said second stitches (P2) a floating length (10) of said main yarn (3) extends. The invention also concerns restraining garments containing said fabric and the method of manufacturing the fabric and garments.

Seamless compression article
11021818 · 2021-06-01 · ·

A seamless compression article is knitted on a flatbed knitting machine having a front needle bed and a rear needle bed opposite thereto. The compression article includes a base structure of at least one weft thread, at least one elastic warp thread inserted or knitted therein, and at least one tubular or pocket-like receptacle extending along a longitudinal direction for at least one finger or at least one toe of a wearer of the compression article and can be placed on a body extremity of the wearer extending in the longitudinal direction. The receptacle includes a number of rib-like elevations, which run substantially parallel to each other and along the longitudinal direction of the corresponding receptacle. Putting on the compression article can thereby be facilitated.

COMPRESSION ARTICLE

A compression article and method for its production on a flat-bed knitting machine are provided for providing an improved fit to a body part. In the compression article, respectively the number of stitches per stitch row is matched to the radial circumference of the body part to be treated by the compression article. The compression article has a plurality of points which are distributed over its circumference and at which, in a stitch row, at least one of a stitch increase and a stitch reduction is realized. The number of stitches in the wale direction varies over the circumference of the compression article and is matched, in the longitudinal direction of the body part, to the shape of the body part to be treated.

Orthopedic device

An orthopedic device comprises a main body defining an outer surface and a cuff extending from an end portion of the main body with frictional material disposed on an inner surface of the first cuff. A hinge is connected to the main body and terminates along the main body short of the cuff. The cuff is arranged to fold over the outer surface of the main body in a disengaged configuration, such that the outer surface of the first cuff is adjacently against the outer surface of the main body.

Garment with elastic inserts produced using circular machines
10954614 · 2021-03-23 · ·

The present invention relates to a garment with elastic inserts produced on circular machines of the type comprising elasticised sectors (3) and elasticised zones obtained by working in a further elastomeric yarnin addition to the ground yarn and the reinforcing yarn normally usedand actually knitting the yarns so as to create machined portions, both horizontally and obliquely, which result in well-defined and demarcated zones which provide greater compression than the knitted stitches on the same row, thereby providingwithin the elasticised sectors (3)a greater compression value than outside the sector on the same row of knitted stitches. The elasticised sectors (3) are designed portions which create ornamental figures or banding with specific compression which can provide support, contribute to the stimulation of blood circulation, reduce fatigue, and render movement safer and more supported, when properly positioned and sized.
