Cosmetic Sheet Masks For Improved Product Delivery
Nonwoven fabrics may be fashioned as topical delivery systems with increased and controllable rate of product release, while still possessing the requisite strength and durability for mass production and distribution. Such delivery systems comprise fabrics that are fashioned from micro-denier fibers that are produced by fibrillating bicomponent island-in-the-sea fibers. Facial masks made from these fabrics can achieve adequate product delivery in 3-5 minutes or less.
Recycle pulp comprising cellulose acetate
A recycled cellulose pulp composition is provided which comprises recycled cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers. A wet-laid fibrous product is also provided which comprises recycled cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers. A bailed article is also provided that comprises recycled cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers. In embodiments, the recycled cellulosic fibers are present in an amount of 50 wt % or more, based on the total dry weight of fibers, and the cellulose ester staple fibers are present in an amount sufficient to increase the Canadian standard freeness (CSF) of the composition by 5% or more compared to a 100 wt % cellulosic fiber pulp composition processed under similar conditions.
Chargeable core/sheath-structured fiber, nonwoven fabric obtained from said fiber, composite nonwoven fabric, nonwoven fabric processed article, and method for producing nonwoven fabric processed article
The present invention provides a chargeable sheath/core-structured fiber that contains a polypropylene-based resin as a main resin, wherein the sheath part contains (a) a carboxylic anhydride-modified polyolefin and (b) at least one antioxidant selected from the group consisting of a combined antioxidant a phenolic antioxidant and a phosphorus-based antioxidant, and sulfur-based antioxidants; and (c) an oil containing a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether represented by the general formula (I) as a finishing oil is deposited on the outer surface of the sheath part, and that can satisfy heat resistance and charge retainability. (In the formula, R.sup.1 represents a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 10 to 30 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and k is an integer of 1 to 4.) ##STR00001##
Free fibre padding structure and method for the production thereof
A free fibre or loose fibre structure for padding comprising a shell containing a plurality of free or loose fibres, said structure being characterised in that said free or loose fibres have a cut that reproduces the length, and in part the fineness, of genuine goose down.
Self-Crimped Multi-Component Fibers and Methods of Making the Same
Self-crimped multi-component fibers (SMF) are provided that include (i) a first component comprising a first polymeric material, in which the first polymeric material comprises a first melt flow rate (MFR) that is less than 50 g/10 min; and (ii) a second component comprising a second polymeric material, in which the second component is different than the first component. The SMF includes one or more three-dimensional crimped portions. Also provided are nonwoven fabrics comprising a plurality of SMFs. Methods of manufacturing SMFs and nonwoven fabrics including SMFs are also provided.
Absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids
An absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids, the article including a liquid absorbent top layer and a backing layer, the top layer and the backing layer being made from roll materials and being joined together. The top layer is constituted by a cellulosic fibrous web, the fibres in the cellulosic fibrous web being constituted by a mixture of cellulose fibres, the mixture including regenerated cellulose fibres or natural cellulose staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres, the cellulosic fibrous web being a foam-formed, hydroentangled cellulosic fibrous web.
Nonwoven filtration media including microfibrillated cellulose fibers
A nonwoven filtration medium that includes a fibrous base media including synthetic and/or fiberglass fibers and microfibrillated cellulose fibers.
Soft wipe comprising cellulose acetate
A soft wipe article is provided comprising a wet-laid sheet which comprises cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers, wherein the cellulose ester staple fibers are present in an amount sufficient to provide the wet laid-sheet with a lower density and higher thickness at a given basis weight compared to a 100% Cellulose Comparative composition, when processed under similar conditions. The cellulose ester staple fibers can also provide the wet laid-sheet with a higher softness, while maintaining or increasing tear strength, compared to a 100% Cellulose Comparative composition, when processed under similar conditions.
SPATIALLY CONTROLLABLE EDUCTOR FOR MANAGING SOLID ADDITIVES AND PROCESSES USING SAME
A spatially controllable, for example CD controllable, eductor, and more particularly an eductor that is capable of providing a variable motive fluid and processes using such an eductor are provided.
Fibrous structures
Fibrous structures containing a mixture of three or more different fibrous elements (filaments and/or fibers) are provided.
