POLYESTER BINDER FIBER HAVING HIGH ADHESIVE FORCE
Provided is a polyester binder fiber which contributes to produce a liber structure having a high strength. The polyester binder fiber may have a ΔH of 30 J/g or less which is calculated as a difference between a melting endothermic amount ΔHm and a crystallization exothermic amount ΔHc in a temperature elevation phase as recorded by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) curve. The polyester binder fiber may have a ratio (a.sub.1:(a.sub.2+a.sub.3)) between a crystalline component fraction (a.sub.1) and a total amount of a constrained amorphous component fraction (a.sub.2) and an amorphous component fraction (a.sub.3) in the range of from 98.0:2.0 to 50.0:50.0 in which the crystalline component fraction (a.sub.1), the constrained amorphous component fraction (a.sub.2), and the amorphous component fraction (a.sub.3) are calculated from a spin-spin relaxation time T.sub.2 at 140° C. obtained by pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
High temperature treated media
A thermally bonded filtration media that can be used in high temperature conditions in the absence of any loss of fiber through thermal effects or mechanical impact on the fiber components is disclosed. The filter media can be manufactured and used in a filter unit or structure, can be placed in a stream of removable fluid, and can remove a particulate load from the mobile stream at an increased temperature range. The combination of bi-component fiber, other filter media fiber, and other filtration additives provides an improved filtration media having unique properties in high temperature, high performance applications.

DERMAL PATCH
A dermal dressing is provided that comprises a foam layer and an adhesive layer applied directly thereon. A textile fabric is arranged on a side of the foam layer facing away from the adhesive layer, and the textile fabric comprises a vertically-lapped nonwoven. A method for producing the dermal dressing of the first aspect is also provided. The method comprises: providing the foam layer; applying the adhesive layer to the foam layer; applying the textile fabric to a side of the foam layer facing away from the adhesive layer; and bonding the foam layer and the textile fabric. The dermal dressing has optimal properties for its use in preventing pressure ulcers.

Thermoplastic fiber sheet
A thermoplastic fiber sheet includes at least cellulosic fibers and thermoplastic resin fibers having a softening temperature of 100 to 140° C. A weight ratio of the cellulosic fibers to the thermoplastic resin fibers (the cellulosic fibers: the thermoplastic resin fibers) is 4:6 to 2:8, and porosity is 20 to 70%.
SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE SUPPORT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAID SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE SUPPORT
A semipermeable membrane support having a thickness difference between measurement thickness at 0.80 N/cm.sup.2 and measurement thickness at 1.27 N/cm.sup.2 of 1.0 to 5.0% is excellent in adhesion to a semipermeable membrane and also adhesion between a raw water spacer and the semipermeable membrane and thereby can be expected to maintain high water permeability after modulation. A method of producing a semipermeable membrane support comprises the step of carrying out hot-press processing by using an elastic roll, which has(have) a hardness between a type A durometer hardness of 60 or more and a type D durometer hardness of 95 or less.
