A display case door includes a panel assembly with a first transparent pane and a second transparent pane. The first transparent pane includes flanges extending from each of a first edge and a second edge of a shaped portion. The second transparent pane is adhered to both flanges of the first pane to define a space between facing surfaces of the second transparent pane and the shaped portion of the first transparent pane and extending between openings at opposite ends of the panel assembly. Caps are coupled to the panel assembly and cover the openings at each of the first end and second end. The door further includes a hinge coupled to one of the flanges, a door handle secured to a surface of one of the flanges, and an edge guard coupled along an edge of at least one of the flanges.

The present disclosure describes various embodiments of a concealed or hidden door closer that is installed in a rail of a door assembly. In some embodiments, the door frame and door closer components are configured to allow the door assembly to be readily installed as either a left or a right hand hinged door.

A door includes a door frame, first and second door skins having rectangular outer peripheries and inner openings, and a frameless glazed unit received at the openings. The door skins include exterior surfaces facing away from the door frame and opposite interior surfaces facing and secured to opposite sides of the door frame. The exterior and interior surfaces of the first and second door skins establish integral lips and grooves of the first and second door skins. Opposite sides of the frameless glazed unit directly contact and are sealed by the integral lips and sealant and/or adhesive contained in the grooves of the first and second door skins.

Molded articles are provided. An exemplary molded article includes an inner panel portion, a main body portion, and a contoured portion extending between and interconnecting the inner panel portion and the main body portion so as to surround the inner panel portion and be surrounded by the main body portion. The contoured portion includes contoured corner segments and contoured elongated segments extending between respective pairs of the contoured corner segments. The contoured corner segments have a first maximum thickness. The contoured elongated segments have a second maximum thickness that is greater than the first maximum thickness.
