Trenching system
A system for uncovering and sealing a narrow trench. The system comprises several subsystems, including a work machine, a frame for providing a seal with the surface to be trenched, a saw blade, a vacuum system, a system for placing product, and a resealer. The blade includes rotatable tooth bits, which may be rotated and secured to create a blade for narrower or a wider trench. A removable cover and the blade are easily changeable. A surface engaging member on the frame is manipulated to maintain a seal with changing ground surfaces. Additionally, the vertical location of the blade within the frame is adjustable to create a deeper or shallower trench.
Laying machine and a blade assembly
The present invention relates to a laying machine for laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire including: a blade arrangement for making a trench in the ground, a consolidation and laying means being arranged behind the blade arrangement, for clearing and safe-guarding the trench from collapsing while laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire into the trench. A blade assembly comprising compartments for cooling fluid and air.
MICROTRENCHER HAVING A UTILITY AVOIDANCE SAFETY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MICROTRENCHING
Provided is a microtrencher having a utility avoidance system that detects objects buried under the roadway, identifies whether the buried object is a utility and determines whether the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel. If the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel, an alert is sent to the operator, the vehicle is stopped, and/or the cutting wheel is raised in relation to the roadway.
Laying machine
The present invention relates to a laying machine for laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire including: a blade arrangement (2) for making a trench (5) in the ground, a consolidation and laying means (3) being arranged behind the blade arrangement (2), for clearing and safeguarding the trench (5) from collapsing while laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire into the trench. A blade assembly comprising compartments for cooling fluid.
Cable-Laying Device And Method
A mobile device for the underground laying of a flexible line, a cable, a cable-pulling empty pipe or fluid transport tube. A front vehicle has a rear support frame, a lateral ejection unit, a milling unit with a milling wheel and a drag formwork or cable laying unit following the wheel. The milling unit is connected to the front vehicle for lateral pivoting up to 25, in particular up to 20, is laterally offset towards the outside with respect to the front vehicle, and can be positioned to laterally protrude over the contour of the front vehicle, by a primary articulation or a swivel joint on the lateral ejection unit having a substantially vertical axis of rotation. The drag formwork, cable laying and cable introducing unit follows the milling unit and the cable introducing unit are also laterally pivotable about a second swivel joint.
Pipe laying plow
A pipe laying plow (100), for operating by moving it forward while pipe (201) is fed therethrough to be laid at a pipe laying depth (D). The plow has a boom (15) held by an above-ground structure (16), and includes a substantially linear pipe feeding tube (3) defining a longitudinal axis (33) in a vertical plane; and a plurality of substantially identically shaped, planar blades (2) attached at regular intervals (BSp) along the tube; a blade length (BL) line intersecting the longitudinal axis (33) at an attachment angle (B), and blade width (BW) lines extending laterally perpendicular to the longitudinal vertical plane; wherein, when the boom is held in operating position, the tube (3) extends longitudinally downward and rearward at a boom angle relative to ground level, and the blades extend lengthwise downward and forward at a plowing angle (A) relative to ground level.
METHOD OF FILLING AND SEALING A MICROTRENCH AND A SEALED MICROTRENCH
Provided is a microtrench fill comprising cement, a polymer, and a colorant. Also provided is a method of using the microtrench fill to fill a microtrench in a roadway.
Method and apparatus for placement of a subterranean curtain below the face of the earth
Apparatus and method for placement of a subterranean curtain below the face of the earth.
Apparatus for inserting an elongate object into a trench
A plough for inserting a cable into a trench in the seabed is disclosed. The plough comprises a plough share for forming a trench in the seabed and a drawbar for enabling attachment of tensile members to the plough. The drawbar is moveable relative to the plough share between a first position, in which the plough is adapted to be towed by a towing cable to move the plough share relative to the seabed to form a trench, and a second position, in which the plough is adapted to be supported by the towing cable to enable the plough apparatus to be deployed to the seabed. A cable path receives the cable and an attachment part of the drawbar is moveable relative to the plough share between the second position and a third position, to enable the cable to be received in the cable path from above the plough.
