HIGHLY SOLUBLE STEVIA SWEETENER
A method for making highly soluble Stevia sweetener compositions is described. The resulting sweetener compositions readily provide high concentration solutions, and also possess superior taste qualities. The compositions can be used as sweeteners, sweetness enhancers, and flavor enhancers in foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
TASTEFUL NATURAL SWEETENER AND FLAVOR
The invention describes products, uses thereof, compositions thereof, and methods to prepare products formed from Maillard reaction products from a sugar donor and/or sweet tea extracts, Stevia extracts, swingle (mogroside) extracts, one or more sweet tea extract components, one or more steviol glycosides, one or more mogrosides, one or more glycosylated sweet tea glycosides, one or more glycosylated steviol glycosides or one or more glycosylated mogrosides and an amine donor/reactant.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING A KAVA LIQUID DIETARY SUPPLEMENT
A method of preparing a liquid dietary supplement includes extracting kavalactones from a Kava plant. The method also includes heating water to a defined temperature and providing the kavalactones and the heated water to the homogenizer. Further, the method includes homogenizing the mixture and generating a slurry of Kava and water. Further still, the method includes agitating the slurry and the water with a mixer.
Systems and Methods for Producing a Kava Liquid Dietary Supplement
A method for preparing a liquid dietary supplement includes extracting kavalactones from a Kava plant, heating water to approximately 160° Fahrenheit, and mixing kavalactones with sugar in a 1:2 ration creating a Kava/sugar mixture. The method also includes pouring Kava/sugar and heated water into a mixer, mixing, for approximately twenty (20) minutes, and pumping mixed Kava/sugar through a filter bag generating a slurry. Further the method includes adding the slurry to water heated to 55° Fahrenheit and agitating the slurry and the water heated to 55° with a mixer.
Sweetness and taste improvement of Steviol glycoside and mogroside sweeteners with cyclamate
Consumables comprising cyclamate and a steviol glycoside sweetener or mogroside sweetener are provided herein, wherein cyclamate, when present in an amount at or below its sweetness recognition threshold concentration, enhances the sweetness of and, optionally, improves the sweetness profile the sweetener, thereby providing a consumable that tastes more like a sucrose-sweetened consumable. Methods of enhancing the sweetness of a consumable, methods of making a consumable taste more like a sucrose-sweetened consumable and methods of preparing consumables are also detailed herein.
REBAUDIOSIDE B AND DERIVATIVES
The invention describes compositions that include a stevia sweetener and a salt of a steviol glycoside, wherein the concentration of the components provide an improved taste profile where bitterness, after taste and/or lingering of the stevia sweetener is decreased or eliminated.
SWEETENING COMPOSITIONS
This disclosure provides aqueous steviol glycoside compositions as well as syrups and beverages comprising these compositions. In certain embodiments, the aqueous steviol glycoside composition comprises water and a sweetening composition, wherein the sweetening composition is solubilized in the water and comprises a stevioside composition and rebaudioside D.
Stevia Cultivar '320032' With Super High Rebaudioside A Content
A stevia cultivar with super high Rebaudioside A content, designated ‘320032’, is disclosed. Another embodiment relates to the plant parts of stevia cultivar ‘320032’, to the plants of stevia ‘320032’ and to methods for producing a stevia plant produced by crossing the cultivar ‘320032’ with itself or another stevia variety, including methods using marker assisted breeding. Another embodiment further relates to hybrid stevia seeds and plants produced by crossing the cultivar ‘320032’ with another stevia cultivar. Twelve highly polymorphic SNPs loci and the corresponding genomic sequences used to identify plant variety ‘320032’-derived plant materials are also disclosed.
GLUCOSYL STEVIA COMPOSITIONS
Glucosyl steviol glycosides (GSG) compositions are prepared from steviol glycosides of Stevia rebaudiana. The GSG compositions can be used as sweeteners in various consumables including foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
SWEETENING INGREDIENTS
The present invention relates to ingredients, particularly sweetening ingredients, for example ingredients for use in reduced sugar, low-sugar, or zero-sugar beverage or food products. More specifically, the present invention relates to ingredients derived from plant infusions, in particular fermented infusions of stevia.
