PROTECTIVE PAD FOR PROTECTION FROM IMPACT AND A PROTECTIVE GARMENT USING THE SAME
The invention is to a protective pad for protection from impact and a protective garment using the same. The protective pad includes a foam part and a plate part. The foam part includes a plurality of channels, a plurality of cutout portions, and a plate accommodating section for receiving the plate part. The channels are formed in a first surface of the foam part and the plate accommodating section is formed in a second surface opposite to the first surface. The cutout portions of the foam part are through-holes formed in the foam part from the first surface to the second surface. The plate part is arranged on the plate accommodating section of the foam part, and the plate part includes a plurality of cutout portions that are substantially aligned with the cutout portions of the foam part.
PADDED LIMB COMPRESSION SLEEVE
A compression based foundation having strategically paced padding to guard against the types of injuries most usually sustained during obstacle course racing is provided. Also provided is an energy supplement storage garment where energy supplements are within easy reach during active racing conditions.
Protective garment assembly
A protective garment assembly for preventing a constricting snake from attacking a user includes a suit that may be worn by the user. A body portion of the suit may be worn on the user's torso. A pair of arm portions of the suit each may be positioned around an associated one of the user's arms. A plurality of leg portions of the suit each may be positioned around an associated one of the user's legs. A plurality of blades is coupled to each of the body, arm and leg portions of the suit. A constricting snake cannot constrict the user without being injured by the plurality of blades.
TEXTILE CLOTHING ITEM WITH AT LEAST ONE ABRASION PROTECTION ZONE PROVIDED WITH PROTECTOR ELEMENTS AND A PROCESS FOR ITS PRODUCTION
In a process for the production of a textile clothing item with at least one abrasion protection zone provided with protector elements, the following steps are provided: 1) Provision of a textile backing layer (1) that is expandable and is provided in the form of a tube open on both sides (1), into which a support element (2) is introduced before the application of the coating material (5), by means of which the tube (1) is pre-extended and stretched free of wrinkles in the abrasion protection zones provided. 2) Provision of a pasty, hardenable coating material (5); 3) Application of a large number of portions of the coating material (5) on a surface of the backing layer for the formation of the protector elements, whereby the portions of the coating material (5) are arranged on the surface in such a way that the portions do not overlap and only a portion of the surface of the backing layer is covered by the coating material (5). A metallic molding plate (10, 20) that contains a large number of concave form cavities (11, 21) for the formation of the protector elements (101), which are filled with the pasty coating mass (5) and which is applied, with its openings, to the tube (1) supported on the support plate (2), is used for that purpose. 4) Hardening of the coating material (5) during the application of temperature for the formation of a large number of hard protector elements on the backing layer.
WEARABLE GARMENT
A wearable garment includes at least one impact absorbing pad with an inner face facing the body of a wearer and an opposite outer face, and a pressure sensor on the side of the pad faced by the inner face of the pad positioned so as to measure the effect at the inner face of an impact on the outer face after a portion of the impact has been absorbed by the pad.
High Performance Sport Sleeve
