IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND LUBRICANT AMOUNT CONTROL METHOD
An image forming apparatus includes: an image bearing member to which lubricant is supplied; a developing section that forms a toner image by attaching toner to an electrostatic latent image formed on the image bearing member; and a control section that controls an amount of the lubricant in the developing section based on an area ratio of the toner image formed on the image bearing member and a development condition when the toner image is formed by the developing section.

An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member to which lubricant is supplied; a toner image forming section; and a patch image forming section and a control section configured to control the toner image forming section and the patch image forming section such that a first development condition for forming the patch image and a second development condition for forming the toner image are different from each other.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND LUBRICANT AMOUNT ADJUSTING METHOD
An image forming apparatus includes: an image bearing member that is rotatable and supplied with toner to which lubricant has been added; a first cleaning section configured to remove the toner remaining on the image bearing member; a second cleaning section configured to remove the toner remaining on the image bearing member and left without being removed by the first cleaning section; and a control section that performs control to change removing performance in the first cleaning section.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus to perform an image forming operation of forming an image on a transferred material includes a photosensitive drum, an exposure unit, a transfer member to form a transfer portion, a transfer voltage applying unit to apply a transfer voltage, an opening/closing member, a detection unit to detect information regarding a first movement or a second movement, and a control unit to execute the image forming operation and a non-image forming operation. Where the detection unit detects the first and second movements, in the non-image forming operation, the control unit rotates the photosensitive drum at least one rotation in a state where a surface of the photosensitive drum is exposed with light by the exposure unit and the transfer voltage is applied so an electrostatic force that causes toner charged to a positive polarity to be attracted to the transfer member is generated in the transfer portion.
Image reading apparatus and image forming apparatus
A driving device is used in an image reading apparatus, and reciprocates a scanning unit for reading an image on an original. The driving device comprises a pull member, a driving pulley which transmits driving force to the pull member, a following pulley which applies tension to the pull member and a pulley holder having a pulley axis which holds the following pulley rotatably. Then, the pulley axis has a lock pawl capable of locking an upper end portion of the following pulley and canceling engagement with the following pulley by being tilted toward a side of an axial center by elastic deformation. Furthermore, the lock pawl is arranged at a side of a tension acting direction from the pull member to the following pulley except the farthest position from the driving pulley among positions in a circumferential direction of the pulley axis. It is possible to attach and detach the following pulley easily at a time of maintenance or the like.
Image forming apparatus and image forming method
An image forming apparatus includes a developing unit and a supply amount increasing unit. The developing unit supplies oil-impregnated particles to an image carrier and develops an electrostatic latent image by a developer on the image carrier which is electrically charged to a polarity that is opposite a polarity of the developer which is electrically charged to a positive polarity or a negative polarity, based on a potential difference between a developing part and the image carrier. The supply amount increasing unit increases an amount of supply of the oil-impregnated particles to the image carrier by adjusting the potential of the image carrier, while a developing operation is not being performed by the developing unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of image formation units, an eraser drive circuit, a static elimination voltage power supply and a control unit. The image formation unit includes an image carrying member, a charging device, a development device and a static eliminator. The eraser drive circuit drives light emitting diodes included in the static eliminators. The eraser drive circuit includes a monochrome drive circuit that drives only the light emitting diode included in the static eliminator provided in the image formation unit where the toner image of black is formed and a color drive circuit that drives the light emitting diodes included in the static eliminators provided in the image formation units where the toner images of all colors including black are formed, and the eraser drive circuit includes a common constant current drive circuit as a part of the monochrome drive circuit and the color drive circuit.
