Techniques For Imaging Wireless Power Delivery Environments And Tracking Objects Therein
Techniques are described herein for imaging static or semi-static objects in a wireless power delivery environment and tracking non-static objects contained therein. More specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure describe techniques for determining the relative locations and movement of non-static objects in a wireless power delivery environment. Additionally, the techniques describe methods and systems for generation of motion-based maps such as heat (or dwell maps) and flow maps.
POSITIONING SIGNAL SENDING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A positioning signal sending method and apparatus are provided. A first signal is generated, where duration of a first rising edge of the first signal is less than duration of a first falling edge, the duration of the first rising edge is duration of a rising edge of a main lobe waveform of the first signal, and the duration of the first falling edge is duration of a falling edge of the main lobe waveform of the first signal; and the first signal is sent. In embodiments of this application, rising time of a main lobe waveform of a signal generated is short, and shorter rising time of the main lobe waveform is more conducive to distinguishing two adjacent paths or identifying a first arrival path of a received signal.

Systems and methods for providing emergency location functionality
Aircraft tracking and emergency location avionics architectures that integrate existing fixed Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) installations, their associated aircraft avionics systems and existing flight deck interfaces with an Autonomous Distress Tracker (ADT) transceiver unit in a coupled configuration. Some of the architectures allow the ADT unit and its advanced distress detecting and reporting capabilities to monitor the activation control path for the ELT and the associated ELT activation outputs. Other architectures place the ADT unit and its advanced distress detection capabilities and ground-controlled capabilities in the activation control path for the ELT. Additional architectures entail the connection of an ADT unit to an ELT remote panel on the flight deck of an aircraft.
TIME-MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION OF LOCALISATION BEACON SIGNALS AND CONTROL-RELATED SIGNALS
A localization system comprising a plurality of wireless reference nodes for detecting a location of a mobile device within an environment. Each node transmits localization beacon signals to be detected by the mobile device, and/or listens for localization beacon signals from the mobile device. Further, the system also provides or contributes to providing another utility into the environment (e.g. each node being a luminaire); and transmits and/or listens for control-related signals, other than localization beacon signals, related to controlling the provision of said utility, the control related signals being communicated on a same or overlapping frequency band as the localization beacon signals, one or more controllers are configured to control the transmission of and/or listening for the control-related signals to be time-multiplexed into different time slots than the transmission and/or listening for the localization beacon signals, between the time-slots of the control-related signals.
Locational information transmission system, locational information transmission apparatus, and information processing device
A locational information transmission apparatus that transmits information for identifying a location is provided. The locational information transmission apparatus includes a radio communication unit that performs radio communication; a sound wave transmitting unit that transmits a sound wave including first identification information; a radio wave transmitting unit that transmits a radio wave including second identification information; and a transmission control unit that changes, depending on control information reported via the radio communication, a method of transmitting the sound wave or a method of transmitting the radio wave.
Positioning reference signal (PRS) generation for multiple transmit antenna systems
Disclosed embodiments pertain to a method of generating a Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) sequence for a system comprising a plurality of physical transmitting antenna elements serving a single cell. In some embodiments, the method may comprise: assigning a distinct Physical Antenna Port (PAP) identifier (ID) to a subset of the plurality of physical transmitting antenna elements; and generating PRS sequences for the subset of the plurality of physical transmitting antenna elements, wherein each PRS sequence corresponds to a physical transmitting antenna element in the subset of the plurality of physical transmitting antenna elements, and each PRS sequence has a corresponding frequency shift based, at least in part, on the PAP ID (h) of the corresponding physical transmitting antenna element.
GROUND RADIO STATION (GRS) APPARATUS AND RADIO STATION APPARATUS INCLUDED IN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV)
A ground radio station (GRS) apparatus and a radio station apparatus included in an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are provided. The GRS apparatus may include an antenna configured to transmit and receive a radio frequency (RF) signal, an RF and/or intermediate frequency (IF) (RF/IF) chain configured to perform a conversion between the RF signal and a baseband signal, a baseband transceiving processor configured to transmit and receive the baseband signal, and a BB-IF interface configured to map the baseband signal to the RF/IF chain or the baseband transceiving processor.
