A method of determining, by an electronic device, an audio event is disclosed. The method may include receiving an input sound from a sound source by a plurality of sound sensors. The method may also extracting, by a processor, at least one sound feature from the received input sound, determining, by the processor, location information of the sound source based on the input sound received by the sound sensors, determining, by the processor, the audio event indicative of the input sound based on the at least one sound feature and the location information, and transmitting, by a communication unit, a notification of the audio event to an external electronic device.

A method of determining, by an electronic device, an audio event is disclosed. The method may include receiving an input sound from a sound source by a plurality of sound sensors. The method may also extracting, by a processor, at least one sound feature from the received input sound, determining, by the processor, location information of the sound source based on the input sound received by the sound sensors, determining, by the processor, the audio event indicative of the input sound based on the at least one sound feature and the location information, and transmitting, by a communication unit, a notification of the audio event to an external electronic device.
UAV DETECTION
A system for detecting, classifying and tracking unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) comprising: at least one microphone array arranged to provide audio data; at least one camera arranged to provide video data; and at least one processor arranged to generate a spatial detection probability map comprising a set of spatial cells. The processor assigns a probability score to each cell as a function of: an audio analysis score generated by comparing audio data to a library of audio signatures; an audio intensity score generated by evaluating a power of at least a portion of a spectrum of the audio data; and a video analysis score generated by using an image processing algorithm to analyse the video data. The system is arranged to indicate that a UAV has been detected in one or more spatial cells if the associated probability score exceeds a predetermined detection threshold.
UAV DETECTION
A system for detecting, classifying and tracking unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) comprising: at least one microphone array arranged to provide audio data; at least one camera arranged to provide video data; and at least one processor arranged to generate a spatial detection probability map comprising a set of spatial cells. The processor assigns a probability score to each cell as a function of: an audio analysis score generated by comparing audio data to a library of audio signatures; an audio intensity score generated by evaluating a power of at least a portion of a spectrum of the audio data; and a video analysis score generated by using an image processing algorithm to analyse the video data. The system is arranged to indicate that a UAV has been detected in one or more spatial cells if the associated probability score exceeds a predetermined detection threshold.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present disclosure relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program each capable of measuring a position and a posture by using sound without bringing discomfort to a user. A spread code signal emitted from each of multiple sound output blocks present at known positions, shifted to a frequency band that is not easily perceivable for a human sense of hearing, and based on a spread code to which spread spectrum modulation has been applied is received. The received spread code signal of a sound signal is reversely shifted. The own absolute position and the own absolute posture are calculated on the basis of the reversely shifted spread code signal, and angular velocity and acceleration detected by an IMU. The present disclosure is applicable to a game controller and an HMD.

The present disclosure relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program each capable of measuring a position and a posture by using sound without bringing discomfort to a user. An image processing apparatus includes a first reception section, a second reception section, an association processing section, an object detection section, and a process execution section. The first reception section receives image information acquired by an image sensor. The second reception section receives sound information that is acquired by one or plural directional microphones and that is generated for at least a partial region in a field of the image sensor. The association processing section associates the sound information with a pixel address of the image information indicating a position in the field. The object detection section detects, from the image information, at least a part of an object that is present in the field. The process execution section executes a predetermined process on the object on the basis of a result of the association performed by the association processing section.

An image processing apparatus includes a first reception section, a second reception section, an association processing section, an object detection section, and a process execution section. The first reception section receives image information acquired by an image sensor. The second reception section receives sound information that is acquired by one or plural directional microphones and that is generated for at least a partial region in a field of the image sensor. The association processing section associates the sound information with a pixel address of the image information indicating a position in the field. The object detection section detects, from the image information, at least a part of an object that is present in the field. An object detection device includes a microphone array that includes a plurality of non-directional microphones, and a processor that processes first sound data obtained by collecting sounds by the microphone array. The processor generates a plurality of items of second sound data having directivity in an arbitrary direction by sequentially changing a directivity direction based on the first sound data, and analyzes a sound pressure level and a frequency component of the second sound data, and determines that an object exists in a first direction in a case where a sound pressure level of a specific frequency, which is included in the frequency component of the second sound data having directivity in the first direction of the arbitrary direction, is equal to or larger than a first prescribed value.
