A toner comprising a toner particle comprising a binder resin, and an external additive, wherein the toner particle further comprises a monohydric aliphatic alcohol, the monohydric aliphatic alcohol has 8 to 18 carbon atoms, a content ratio of the monohydric aliphatic alcohol extracted from the toner with ethanol is 30 to 300 ppm by mass in the toner, and the external additive comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of hydrotalcite particles and alumina particles.
TONER

The external additive contains specific external additive particles and silica particles. The specific external additive particles each include a base containing barium titanate and a coat layer covering the base. The coat layer contains antimony tin oxide. Mass ratios of metal elements contained in the toner particles satisfy 0.10<(Ba/Si)<0.60 (formula (1)); 0.05<(Ba/Si)<0.20 (formula (2)); and 1.5<(Sn/Ba)<5.0 (formula (3)).

An electrostatic image developing toner includes toner particles including a binder resin and a release agent, an external additive A, and an external additive B. At least the external additive A is present on the surface of the toner particles. At least the external additive B is present on the external additive A. The external additive B is an aggregate of two or more particles. The toner particles have an average circularity of 0.8 or more and 0.94 or less. The amount of the release agent present at the surface of the toner particles is 5 area % or more and 30 area % or less based on the total surface area of the toner particles.
TONER
A toner comprising a toner particle comprising a binder resin, wherein the toner particle further comprises: a compound represented by R.sup.1—[OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2].sub.n—OH, where, R.sup.1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 1 to 3; and at least one polyvalent element selected from the group consisting of magnesium, calcium, aluminum, boron and iron, and a content of the polyvalent element in the toner is 100 mass ppm to 5000 mass ppm.
TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
A two-component developer includes an electrostatic image developing toner and a carrier, and the electrostatic image developing toner contains toner particles having toner base particles and an external additive. The toner base particles contain a colorant, the colorant contains a pigment P1 and a pigment P2, the absorption maximum wavelength λmax of the pigments P1 and P2 each in dispersion in methyl ethyl ketone is, 400 nm or more and less than 600 nm for the pigment P1 and 600 nm or more and 700 nm or less for the pigment P2, the external additive contains titanium oxide, the content of the titanium oxide is 0.01% by mass or more and less than 1.00% by mass based on the total mass of the toner base particles, and the iron element content (atomic %) of the surface of the carrier as measured by X-ray electron spectroscopy satisfies a specific expression.

Provided is an electrostatic latent image developing toner including: toner base particles containing a binder resin and a white pigment; and an external additive, wherein silica particles are contained as the external additive, and the following relational expression (1) is satisfied, Relational expression (1): 0.70≤Wh_Si(B)/Wh_Si(A)≤0.95, in the above relational expression (1), Wh_Si (A) represents an NET intensity of a Si element contained in the white electrostatic latent image developing toner measured by wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, and Wh_Si (B) represents an NET intensity of a Si element contained in the white electrostatic latent image developing toner that has been ultrasonically dispersed in water.
ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER, ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPER, AND TONER CARTRIDGE
An electrostatic image developing toner includes a toner particle including a binder resin and a release agent. When a cross section of the toner particle is observed, the toner particle satisfies conditions (A) and (B) below: Condition (A): plural domains of the release agent, the domains having a diameter equal to 10% or more and 35% or less of the maximum diameter of the toner particle, are present in the toner particle; and Condition (B): the average of the distances between the centers of gravity of the domains of the release agent is 35% or more and 60% or less of the maximum diameter of the toner particle.
ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER, ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPER, AND TONER CARTRIDGE
An electrostatic image developing toner includes a toner particle including a binder resin and a release agent. When a cross section of the toner particle is observed, the toner particle satisfies a condition (A1) below: Condition (A1): the toner particle includes one or more domains of the release agent, the one or more domains having a diameter equal to 8% or more and 30% or less of the maximum diameter of the toner particle, the one or more domains having a geometric center at a depth of R/2 or less below the surface of the toner particle, where R represents the distance between the geometric center of the toner particle and the surface of the toner particle, the one or more domains being entirely included in an inside portion of the toner particle which extends below a depth of 50 nm from the surface of the toner particle.
