TONER SET
A toner set and an image forming method, both of which can print a full-color image that is superior in gradation and color reproducibility of an image including a higher-order color and superior in continuous printing durability. When one color toner selected from the group consisting of the color toners included in the toner set is defined as a first toner and other color toners are defined as second toners, an internal friction angle θ1 (°) of the first toner and an internal friction angle θ2 (°) of each of the second toners satisfy relationships represented by the following formulae (1) and (2), and a first image developed with the first toner and second images developed with the second toners are transferred in this order on a recording medium or a transfer medium to form an image including a higher-order color:

A white toner includes a toner particle that contains a binder resin containing a hybrid resin in which an amorphous resin unit and a crystalline polyester resin unit are chemically bonded to each other, surface-treated titanium oxide, and a release agent, in which a proportion of Al atoms in a surface of the surface-treated titanium oxide is 3 atomic % or greater and 20 atomic % or less, and a proportion of Ti atoms in the surface is 5 atomic % or greater and 15 atomic % or less.

A white toner includes a toner particle that contains a binder resin, a release agent, and titanium oxide, at least a part of the titanium oxide being present in a release agent domain, in which in observation of a cross section of the toner particle, an average major axis length Dt of the toner particle, an average major axis length Dw of the release agent domain, and an average major axis length Dp of the titanium oxide in the release agent domain satisfy Expressions (1) and (2).

A photoluminescent toner includes a photoluminescent toner particle that contains a binder resin, a release agent, and a photoluminescent pigment and has a release agent domain, and a silicone oil-treated silica particle that is externally added to the photoluminescent toner particle, in which in observation of a cross section of the photoluminescent toner particle, an average major axis length Dw of the release agent domain and an average major axis length Dp of the photoluminescent pigment satisfy Expression (1).

TONER BLENDS COMPRISING OF A CLEAR TONER AND A PIGMENTED TONER
Provided is a toner blend composition comprising a first pigmented toner and a second toner that is devoid of any pigment additive, i.e., a ‘non-pigmented or clear toner’. The non-pigmented or clear toner is about 1% to about 15% by weight of the toner blend composition. The resulting inventive toner blend composition surprisingly exhibits similar print density on a page compared to a fully pigmented toner. Moreover, this toner blend composition exhibits improvement in toner usage per page, thus lowering toner cost compared to a fully pigmented toner. The non-pigmented or clear toner may be used in combination with either a monochrome or conventional toner using a carbon black pigment, or a chemically processed toners (‘CPT”) toners using a black pigment, magenta pigment, yellow pigment or a cyan pigment.
TONER
A toner comprising a toner particle comprising a colorant, a binder resin, and calcium carbonate particles, wherein an amount of the colorant in the toner particle is from 1.0 to 20.0% by mass; the binder resin comprises a polyester resin; the polyester resin has an aromatic ring concentration of from 50 to 70 mol %; a surface of the calcium carbonate particles is coated with a fatty acid; an amount of the calcium carbonate particles in the toner particle is from 1.0 to 15.0% by mass; a number average particle diameter of the calcium carbonate particles is from 150 nm to 800 nm.

A toner comprising a toner particle, wherein the toner particle includes a toner base particle containing a binder resin and includes a protruded portion on a surface of the toner base particle; the protruded portion comprises an organosilicon polymer and a polyhydric acid metal salt; and the polyhydric acid metal salt is present on a surface of the protruded portion.
Toner for developing electrostatic images
The toner for developing electrostatic images is less likely to cause toner ejection and is excellent in printing durability. The toner includes colored resin particles and external additives. The external additives includes an external additive A and an external additive B; wherein the external additive A is silica particles being surface-hydrophobized with a specific hydrophobizing agent and having a specific number average particle diameter; and wherein the external additive B is silicone resin particles having a ratio (BS/TS) of a BET specific surface area (BS) to a theoretical specific surface area (TS) in a range of from 3.0 to 30.0, and having a specific number average particle diameter.
