DELIVERING MEDIA CONTENT TO A CONTENT CONSUMING USER

In the following, a content delivery system delivers a modified version of a media asset to a current content consuming user. Control information identifying a desired attribute of the modified version of the asset is received from the current content consuming user. The media asset is modified based on the control information and audience reaction data associated with the media asset and generated by analyzing at least a previous content consuming user's reactions to the media asset whilst the media asset was supplied to a media output device of the previous content consuming user.

REPRESENTATIVE IMAGE SELECTION FOR IMAGE MANAGEMENT USING FACE RECOGNITION

A technique for selecting a representative image from a group of digital images includes extracting data representing an image of a face of a person from each image in the group using a face recognition algorithm, determining a score for each image based on one or more quality parameters that are satisfied for the respective image, and selecting the image having the highest score as the representative image for the group. The quality parameters may be based on any quantifiable characteristics of the data. Each of these quality parameters may be uniquely weighted, so as to define the relative importance of one parameter with respect to another. The score for determining the representative image of the group may be obtained by adding together the weights corresponding to each quality parameter that is satisfied for a given image. Once selected, the representative image may be displayed in a graphical user interface.

Methods and Systems for Gaze-Based Control of Virtual Reality Media Content

An exemplary virtual reality media system presents a field of view of an immersive virtual reality world on a display screen of a media player device associated with a user. The field of view includes content of the immersive virtual reality world and dynamically changes in response to user input provided by the user as the user experiences the immersive virtual reality world. Additionally, the virtual reality media system detects that a gaze of the user is directed for a predetermined amount of time at a gaze target included within the field of view. In response to the detection, the virtual reality media system presents an interactive user interface associated with the gaze target. In some examples, the interactive user interface is presented within the field of view together with the content of the immersive virtual reality world. Corresponding methods and systems are also described.

Disclosed are a method for processing a dynamic image and an electronic device thereof. The method includes: taking a dynamic image and meantime recording a sound; extracting a sound print feature from recorded sound information; and writing an extracted sound print feature into the dynamic image, and performing sound print tagging on the dynamic image. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, sound print tagging on the dynamic image is implemented, retrieving the dynamic image by category and quick match and query based on the sound print feature are implemented, which makes operations for users to retrieve an image more efficiently and intuitively.

ASSISTING A VISUALLY IMPAIRED USER TO GRIP AN OBJECT
20170287360 · 2017-10-05 ·

The present disclosure relates to system(s) and device for assisting a visually impaired user to grip objects. The system may receive an image of an object in real-time and identify a reference image corresponding to the image by comparing the image with reference images. Further, the system may identify a reference tactile image corresponding to the reference image and generate a first set of audio instructions for assisting the visually impaired user to grip the object based on the reference tactile image. Further, the system may receive a tactile image from a tactile glove of the visually impaired user and compare the tactile image with the reference tactile image to identify pressure variation data. Furthermore, the system may generate a second set of audio instructions for guiding the visually impaired user to grip the object base on a second set of audio instructions generated using the pressure variation data.

Making a user's data, settings, and licensed content available in the cloud

A cloud-based computer system changes the modern paradigm from being device-centric to being person-centric. The system makes all user data, software settings, device settings, and licensed content for a user available in the cloud. The system includes a conversion mechanism that can convert information intended for one device type to a different device type. Thus, a user changing smart phone platforms can convert their current smart phone settings to equivalent settings on the new phone platform, and their new phone can then be configured using the user's converted settings stored in the cloud. By storing all the user's relevant information in the cloud, this information may be accessed anywhere and may be used to configure a large number of different devices according to the user's settings.

System and method for automatically selecting images to accompany text

A system for selecting an image to accompany text from a user in connection with a social media post. The system is capable of receiving text from the user, identifying one or more search terms based on the text, identifying candidate images from images in one or more image databases using the search terms, presenting one or more candidate images to the user, receiving from the user a selected image from the one or more candidate images, generating the social media post comprising the selected image and the user-submitted text, and transmitting the social media post for display.

Iterative image search algorithm informed by continuous human-machine input feedback

System and computer-implemented method of analyzing tags associated with a sequence of images presented to a user to present a current interest of the user is disclosed. An image from among a plurality of images is presented on an electronic display. The image is associated with a set of tags. An input is received indicating a user's preference for the image. A plurality of tags is processed based on the preference and the set of tags to determine a next set of tags from the plurality of tags. A next image is determined from the plurality of images based on the next set of tags. The next image represents a physical object, different from a physical object represented by the previous image. A sequence of images is generated by repeating the above process with the next image in place of the previous image for present a user's current interest.

MEDICAL IMAGING DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND DEVICE
20220050871 · 2022-02-17 · ·

Improved systems and devices for medical imaging distribution are provided. A medical imaging order may be received from a medical facility that includes medical imaging. A configuration may be selected and applied based on a body site and an urgency field associated with the order that defines queueing rules for the medical imaging order. Utilization factors for queues associated with radiologists may also be determined. The configuration and the utilization factors may be used to determine a subset of queues associated with a subset of radiologists. The subset of queues may be prioritized based on certain requirements, such as how many medical imaging reports a particular radiologist is required to review, how many medical imaging reports are required to be allocated to a particular radiologist, and the like. The highest prioritized queue may be selected and the medical imaging order may be transmitted to the radiologist associated with that queue.
