SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE
A server comprises a communications module; a processor coupled with the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to obtain transfer records identifying value transfers associated with an account of a user, the transfer records including a transfer amount, a transfer date and a transfer descriptor; group the transfer records based on predefined criteria; within at least one group of the transfer records, identify one or more representative transfer records based at least on stored selection criteria; obtain an image associated with at least one of the representative transfer records; and send, via the communications module and to a computing device associated with the user, a transfer record summary interface, the transfer record summary interface including the image associated with the at least one representative transfer record.
EDITING DEVICE AND EDITING METHOD
An editing device acquires a first image in which an occupant of a vehicle has been imaged in association with a time point in a time series and a second image in which scenery around the vehicle has been imaged in association with a time point in a time series, acquires first index information indicating feelings of the occupant when the first image has been captured on the basis of the first image, and extracts the first image and the second image from first images of the time series and second images of the time series on the basis of the first index information and the time point associated with the first image based on the first index information to generate a library including the extracted images.
Context labels for data clusters
Systems and methods for applying and using context labels for data clusters are provided herein. A method described herein for managing a context model associated with a mobile device includes obtaining first data points associated with a first data stream assigned to one or more first data sources; assigning ones of the first data points to respective clusters of a set of clusters such that each cluster is respectively assigned ones of the first data points that exhibit a threshold amount of similarity and are associated with times within a threshold amount of time of each other; compiling statistical features and inferences corresponding to the first data stream or one or more other data streams assigned to respective other data sources; assigning context labels to each of the set of clusters based on the statistical features and inferences.
Generating statistics using electronic device data
The present application is directed to techniques and processes for using various types of data to generate criminal statistics associated with a geographic area. For instance, a system may store first criminal statistics for a first geographical area. The system may further store image data generated by an electronic device and information describing the image data. Next, the system may determine a second geographic area for generating second criminal statistics, where at least a portion of the first geographic area is located within the second geographic area. The system may then determine that at least a portion of the first criminal statistics occurred in the second geographic area and the electronic device is located in the second geographic area. Based on the determinations, the system may generate the second criminal statistics, where the second criminal statistics includes at least a portion of the first criminal statistics and the information.
Generation and validation of user credentials
Obtaining and/or validating user credentials at client devices is described. This disclosure describes methods of generating representations of credentials for groups of users or for individuals. Representations for these credentials can be managed by a server or collection of servers, and distributed to appropriate users' client devices. These representations can then be outputted for evaluation by a credential authority, who confirms that the credential possessed by a given user is valid. A credential authority may be a person and/or a device that validates a credential.
System and method for automatically selecting images to accompany text
A system for selecting an image to accompany text from a user in connection with a social media post. The system is capable of receiving text from the user, identifying one or more search terms based on the text, identifying candidate images from images in one or more image databases using the search terms, presenting one or more candidate images to the user, receiving from the user a selected image from the one or more candidate images, generating the social media post comprising the selected image and the user-submitted text, and transmitting the social media post for display.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING IMAGE SHORTCUTS FOR AN ASSISTANT APPLICATION
Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are set forth for generating and/or utilizing image shortcuts that cause one or more corresponding computer actions to be performed in response to determining that one or more features are present in image(s) from a camera of a computing device of a user (e.g., present in a real-time image feed from the camera). An image shortcut can be generated in response to user interface input, such as a spoken command. For example, the user interface input can direct the automated assistant to perform one or more actions in response to object(s) having certain feature(s) being present in a field of view of the camera. Subsequently, when the user directs their camera at object(s) having such feature(s), the assistant application can cause the action(s) to be automatically performed. For example, the assistant application can cause data to be presented and/or can control a remote device in accordance with the image shortcut.
System and method for dynamically-changeable displayable pages with vehicle service information
A method and system for generating a displayable page with a display card is described. A computer server receives data indicating a vehicle symptom and searches a computer-readable database to determine a most-likely cause of the vehicle symptom, a most-probable component associated with the most-likely cause, a component-type identifier associated with the most-probable component, a subset of information categories from among a set of information categories associated with at least one component-type identifier, and data to populate the display card. The server generates the displayable page including the display card and the data to populate in the display card. The server transmits the displayable page to a display device for displaying the displayable page on a display screen. The server receives data indicating selection of an action trigger in the display card occurred and responsively provides the display device with data to update the display card or another displayable page.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONTENT PROCESSING
Mobile phones and other portable devices are equipped with a variety of technologies by which existing functionality can be improved, and new functionality can be provided. Some aspects relate to visual search capabilities, and determining appropriate actions responsive to different image inputs. Others relate to processing of image data. Still others concern metadata generation, processing, and representation. Yet others concern user interface improvements. Other aspects relate to imaging architectures, in which a mobile phone's image sensor is one in a chain of stages that successively act on packetized instructions/data, to capture and later process imagery. Still other aspects relate to distribution of processing tasks between the mobile device and remote resources (“the cloud”). Elemental image processing (e.g., simple filtering and edge detection) can be performed on the mobile phone, while other operations can be referred out to remote service providers. The remote service providers can be selected using techniques such as reverse auctions, through which they compete for processing tasks. A great number of other features and arrangements are also detailed.
