SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO AUTONOMOUSLY ADD GEOLOCATION INFORMATION TO MEDIA OBJECTS

Systems and methods to generate clusters of media objects (e.g., photos) that are associated with geolocation information (e.g., GPS data, folder name, file name, other metadata) and without geolocation information so that the media objects in a media library without geolocation information can be given location data in an automated user approved system. An approval system of visual overlays on a graphical user interface (GUI) lets users approve the proposed geolocation clusters and approve or reject the geolocation proposals individually or as a group. The resulting approved clusters may then be tagged with geolocation information (e.g., GPS coordinates, city, state, country) and may then be automatically organized in a number of ways, including but not limited to, by location, on a calendar, on a map, etc.

Computing Systems and Methods for Cataloging, Retrieving, and Organizing User-Generated Content Associated with Objects

The present disclosure provides computing systems and methods for cataloging, retrieving, and/or organizing user-generated content associated with objects. Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a systems and methods which utilize computers to enable users to interact with libraries of user-generated content associated with cataloged objects. For example, a user can capture one or more images of a real-world object, label or otherwise annotate the object with various types of user-generated content and organize the object and its associated content into one or more libraries. The user-generated content can then be provided to other users upon the receipt of images of the same object or an object displaying similar features.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD

An apparatus configured for head-worn by a user, includes: a screen configured to present graphics for the user; a camera system configured to view an environment in which the user is located; and a processing unit coupled to the camera system, the processing unit configured to: obtain a first image with a first resolution, the first image having a first corner, determine a second image with a second resolution, the second image having a second corner that corresponds with the first corner in the first image, wherein the second image is based on the first image, the second resolution being less than the first resolution, detect the second corner in the second image, determine a position of the second corner in the second image, and determine a position of the first corner in the first image based at least in part on the determined position of the second corner in the second image.

Displaying data related to objects in images

An example of a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing machine-readable instructions. The instructions may cause a controller to receive an image and detect an object in the image. Based on a contextual setting of the electronic device, overlay data may be retrieved from a database or a remote electronic device to be visually associated with the object on a display.

Geologic formation operations framework control

A method can include accessing data generated during field operations; analyzing at least a portion of the data as to legal tag property values; storing the legal tag property values in association with the data; and operating a computational framework in accordance with the legal tag property values.

Surrogate Metadata Aggregation for Dynamic Content Assembly

Concepts and technologies directed to surrogate metadata aggregation for dynamic content assembly are disclosed. Embodiments can include a system that comprises a processor and a memory that stores computer-executable instructions that configure a processor to perform operations. The operations can include obtaining a first visual content from a digital data store, where the first visual content is configured to digitally represent a first scene. The operations can include performing image recognition on the first visual content so as to identify a second visual content that is digitally configured to represent a second scene. The operations can include determining that native original metadata cannot be obtained for the first visual content, where the native original metadata includes information about the first scene digitally represented by the first visual content. The operation can include generating surrogate metadata for the first visual content based on metadata obtained from the second visual content.

Regularized Iterative Collaborative Feature Learning From Web and User Behavior Data
20170228659 · 2017-08-10 ·

Certain embodiments involve learning features of content items (e.g., images) based on web data and user behavior data. For example, a system determines latent factors from the content items based on data including a user's text query or keyword query for a content item and the user's interaction with the content items based on the query (e.g., a user's click on a content item resulting from a search using the text query). The system uses the latent factors to learn features of the content items. The system uses a previously learned feature of the content items for iterating the process of learning features of the content items to learn additional features of the content items, which improves the accuracy with which the system is used to learn other features of the content items.
