Presentation file generation
Methods and systems for generating a presentation file. The systems and methods described herein may analyze received imagery in accordance with one or more criterion, and then select at least a portion of the received imagery based on the portion satisfying the at least one criterion. The systems and methods may then generate a presentation file such as a video slideshow that includes the selected imagery portion(s).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEVICE QUERY/RETRIEVE CAPABILITY DISCOVERY
Systems and methods are provided for automatically generating a digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) conformance statement. In one example, a method includes determining a set of DICOM query/retrieve capabilities of a DICOM application implemented on a DICOM device by performing a list of queries to the DICOM application, and populating a DICOM conformance statement with the determined set of DICOM query/retrieve capabilities.

Method of e-commerce
A system and method for providing search results is disclosed. One embodiment includes first presenting an image containing a product to a user and providing the user with a user interface for selecting the image, or a portion of the image associated with the product, from among several images. Search results are generated by searching for at least one characteristic based on one tag applied to the image or portion of the image in a database associated with a brand or designer identified in a second tag. In another embodiment, a user is provided with an upload interface to upload and tag an image so that the image is tagged for use in generating and providing search results to an independent user.
Highlighting media through weighting of people or contexts
Techniques and apparatuses for highlighting media through weighting of people or contexts are described. This document describes techniques that allow a user to quickly and easily highlight media, such as through generating a highlight reel. The techniques also enable selection of context and person weightings by which to tailor highlight reels.
Conversion and display of a user input
Described herein are methods and systems allowing a company to market and advertise its brands, products and/or services in a mobile platform by use of an application converting a user input into a corresponding branded icon, logo or image and displaying the same. The user input is in the form of a text entry from the device keyboard, e.g., a brand name or a generic search word, or a voice or sound input or audio demand from the device speaker. By providing various menu functions associated with the displayed icons, logos or images, the application combines mobile texting with online search or browsing to provide for a much simpler and more convenient mobile experience.
Identifying items in images
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for using location data to identify and provide services in association with items appearing in captured images. One of the methods includes receiving, from a device, an image and location data representing the device's physical location, determining, based on the location data, that a particular set of one or more locations are within a threshold distance of the device's physical location, accessing, for each of the one or more locations in the particular set, item information that indicates one or more items that are associated with the location, determining, based on the accessed item information, that the image likely shows a particular item that is associated with one or more locations in the particular set, and providing, to the device, instructions for presentation of information about (i) the particular item and (ii) one or more locations in the particular set that are associated with the particular item.
Geographic information system for creating 3D structure models using perspective view drafting
A new generation 3D modeling system is described for the management of the 3D characteristics of man-made structures in a shared geographic information system (GIS) platform. The system accommodates the conversion of 2D GIS topology to 3D real-world topology, originate and perpetually maintain 3D models and non-graphical attribute data through time managed by a community of users based on a series of permissions and user roles. The system integrates 3D model data with attribute data and may be supplemented with published map or attribute data and/or data made available by users of the system.
DYNAMIC SEARCH CONTROL INVOCATION AND VISUAL SEARCH
Described is a system and method for enabling dynamic selection of a search input. For example, rather than having a static search input box, the search input may be dynamically positioned such that it encompasses a portion of displayed information. For example, a user may touch a touch-based display using two fingers to invoke the dynamic search input and then determine a size and a position of the dynamic search input by moving their fingers on the display. An image segment that includes a representation of the encompassed portion of the displayed information is generated and processed to determine an object represented in the portion of the displayed information. Additional images with visually similar representations of objects are then determined and presented to the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOMMENDING ENTITIES BASED ON INTEREST INDICATORS
Entities such as hotels, restaurants, resorts, houses, vehicles, and other places and things, are associated with images of each entity. The images are tagged using machine learning to identify what aspects of the associated entity are captured by each image. When a user is requested to select an entity from a set of entities, a user preference model is used to determine what tags the user is interested in. The tags are used to select images associated with the entities from the set of entities, and the selected images are displayed to the user. The user can then provide indicators that show which of the displayed images the user likes or dislikes. Based on the indicators, one or more entities from the set of entities is presented to the user. The model may also be updated based on the indicators.
