Toner container, image forming unit, and image forming apparatus
A toner container includes containing chambers, a shaft member, rotary members, and stirring members. The containing chambers are arrayed in a first direction and partitioned from each other. The containing chambers contain respective toners of different colors. The shaft member extends in the first direction, passes through the containing chambers, and is rotatable about a rotational axis extending in the first direction. The rotary members are disposed in the respective containing chambers and each have a through-hole extending in the first direction. The rotary members are rotatable in response to rotation of the shaft member in an inserted state of the shaft member in the through-holes. The stirring members are supported by the respective rotary members and each extend in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The stirring members are pivotable in response to rotation of the respective rotary members. The stirring members have different pivoting positions upon pivoting.

Developer container, image forming unit, and image forming apparatus
A developer container includes: a container body that stores developer; an agitating member that is rotatably disposed in the container body and rotates to agitate the developer; a first swing member that includes a first fixed end, a first free end, a first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface, and that is swung by the agitating member coming into contact with the first surface when the agitating member rotates; and a projecting support that is disposed to face the second surface and project from a wall surface formed in the container body, and that abuts the second surface.
Stirring/conveying member, and developing device and image forming apparatus therewith
A stirring/conveying member has a rotary shaft rotatably supported in a powder container, a first helical blade formed on the circumferential surface of the rotary shaft and conveying powder in the axial direction by the rotation of the rotary shaft, and a second helical blade formed on the circumferential surface of the rotary shaft to overlap the forming region of the first helical blade, spiraling in the opposite phase to the first helical blade, and having a smaller radial height than the first helical blade. The first helical blade crosses the second helical blade at least at one place in one turn about the rotary shaft. At least one of the radial heights of the first and second helical blades equals zero at the intersection of the first and second helical blades.
Powder transport member, powder container, and image forming apparatus
A powder transport member includes a rotary member that rotates around an axis inside a container in which powder is contained, a contact member that has one end secured to the rotary member and another end that is a free end, the contact member flexing upon contact of the other end with an inner wall of the container, the contact member having multiple cuts provided in an axial direction of the rotary member, the cuts extending from the other end obliquely with respect to the rotary member, and multiple projections that are provided on the rotary member in the axial direction, the projections projecting from the rotary member toward the inner wall of the container, the projections having a distal end portion that is located at a different position from a starting edge of the cuts with respect to the axial direction.
Developing cartridge including casing that has recessed portion and boss connecting two opposing walls of casing inside toner chamber, and image forming apparatus using the same
A developing cartridge is attachable to a drawer that is movable in a first direction relative to a main housing of an image forming apparatus. The developing cartridge includes: a casing having a toner chamber; and a developing roller positioned at one end of the casing in a second direction and rotatable about an axis extending in a third direction. The casing includes: a recessed portion recessed from an outer surface of the casing toward the developing roller; a first wall extending in the second direction; and a first boss positioned inside the toner chamber. The recessed portion is positioned at a center in the third direction of another end of the casing in the second direction. The first wall and the second wall form the toner chamber. The first boss extends from the first wall to be connected to the second wall.
DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE INCLUDING DEVELOPING ELECTRODE WHICH INCLUDES CONNECTION PORTION AND CONTACT SURFACE
A developing cartridge includes: a housing; a developing roller; a blade; and a developing electrode. The housing is configured to accommodate toner. The housing has one end portion and an other end portion in a first direction. The developing roller includes a developing shaft extending in a second direction. The blade is placed on an outer circumferential surface of the developing roller.
