Wearable Nystagmus Detection Devices and Methods for Using the Same
Wearable nystagmus detection devices are provided. The wearable device comprises first and second sensors configured to sense eye movement of the subject, and circuitry operably coupled to the sensors and configured to detect horizontal and vertical eye movements based on signals from the first and second sensors and/or a transmitter configured to transmit signals sensed by the first and second sensors to remote circuitry configured to receive signals transmitted by the transmitter and to detect horizontal and vertical eye movement based on signals from the first and second sensors. Also provided are systems and kits that include the devices, as well as methods for using devices and systems to monitor eye movement of a subject. The devices, systems, methods and kits find use in a variety of different applications.
LIGHT SHIELDING SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRORETINOGRAM AND METHOD OF SHIELDING AT LEAST ONE EYE FROM INCIDENT LIGHT
A light shielding system configured to shield at least one eye of a patient from incident light for an electroretinogram includes a substantially lighttight shielding box enclosing an inner space arranged to receive a handheld Ganzfeld stimulator, which box is mountable over the at least one eye of the patient; the box including at least one sleeve extending into the box to allow manipulation of the Ganzfeld stimulator.

System and device for improving sleep quality
A device and system for promoting more recuperative sleep by regulating a user's body temperature. This may be done by using a series of devices that measure information about the user both while they are awake and while they are asleep, communicate that information to a processing unit, and create an ideal body temperature range profile based on that information. A temperature stimulus device may ensure that the core body temperature of the user stays substantially within the ideal body temperature range. By keeping the core body temperature of the user within the calculated range, the device and system will ensure deeper, and therefore more recuperative, sleep.
SUBSTANCE CONCENTRATION MEASURING DEVICE, SUBSTANCE CONCENTRATION MEASURING METHOD AND HUMAN CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM
A substance concentration measuring device, for measuring a substance concentration for a target substance in blood of a subject, comprising: a processing circuit; and a plurality of electrodes. At least two of the electrodes touches the subject when the subject wears the substance concentration measuring device, thereby the processing circuit can acquire at least one physiological signal caused by an eye of the subject. The processing circuit computes a voltage value or a voltage difference of the physiological signal, and computes the substance concentration according to the voltage value or the voltage difference. A human condition monitoring system comprising the substance concentration measuring device is also disclosed.
