Image forming apparatus for using a password in changing a setting of an interpreter
An information processing apparatus to communicate with an external apparatus includes a reception unit, an execution unit, a setting unit, and a determination unit. The reception unit receives data described in Postscript from the external apparatus. The execution unit executes processing based on a command described in the data received by the reception unit. The setting unit performs a predetermined setting regarding execution of the processing. The determination unit determines, in a case where the reception unit receives data in which a command associated with a superexec operator is described, whether the execution unit executes the processing based on the command using the predetermined setting.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a scanner to generate image data by scanning a document and a control unit. The control is configured to set, for each pixel in the image data, a second pixel value based on a first pixel value and a difference between a first base value corresponding to a base color of the document and a second base value that is based on neighboring pixel values around the pixel. A correction table is used to obtain a corrected second pixel value for each pixel. A third pixel value for each pixel is set based on the corrected second pixel value and the difference between the first and second base values.
PRINTING APPARATUS, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND PRINTING METHOD
A handheld printing apparatus includes a memory and processing circuitry. The memory is configured to store a plurality of pieces of image data. The processing circuitry is configured to print the plurality of pieces of image data one by one in an order. The processing circuitry is configured to print one piece of image data by one scan and switch a piece of image data to be printed, in the order among the plurality of pieces of image data, each time one scan ends.
System configured to output image data representing adjoining characteristic images
A controller of an information processing apparatus is configured to receive image data representing a compound image including at least first characteristic data and second characteristic data, extract first and second characteristic image data respectively representing the first and second characteristic images, determine, by analyzing the first and second characteristic image data as extracted, whether the first and second characteristic images are identical. When it is determined that the first and second characteristic images are not identical, the controller generates arranged image data subjected to be printed and representing the first and second characteristic images in a boundary-distinguishable manner, while, when it is determined that the first and second characteristic images are identical, the controller generates arranged image data subjected to be printed and representing the first and second characteristic images not in a boundary-distinguishable manner. Then, the controller outputs the arranged image data.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING METHOD
A predetermined area of a print surface is captured by a camera as a plurality of subdivided images to include an end edge portion of a previously printed image on a coating-target object, the end edge portion serving as a connection portion with an image to be drawn to be printed contiguous to the printed image, a composite print surface, which is a plane projection of the print-target surface which is non-plane, is created on the basis of the captured subdivided images, an edited image to be drawn is created by superimposing the image to be drawn on the composite print surface, and the image to be drawn is adjacently printed contiguous to the printed image on the basis of the edited image to be drawn.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
In an example, an apparatus comprising an image processor is configured to perform edge detection on the image to detect a plurality of edges, automatically identify a path across the image based on the detected plurality of edges, divide the image into two adjacent sub-images based on the determined path, and generate first and second print data to cause the printing device to print the two adjacent sub-images.
PRINTER AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER-READABLE INSTRUCTIONS
A printer includes an input device for receiving an input operation to the printer from a user, a memory, a printing device, and a controller. The controller is configured to: receive print data from a terminal; in a case where the controller determines that the print data received from the terminal is raster data, determine whether a particular condition is met; in a case where the controller determines that the particular condition is met, send, to the terminal, request information that requests the terminal to send page description language (PDL) data; and, in a case where the controller receives the PDL data from the terminal after sending the request information to the terminal, allow the printing device to execute printing on a basis of the PDL data. The PDL data specifies types of drawing objects and drawing positions with commands.
CELL LINE-BASED RASTER IMAGE DATA GENERATION
A technique includes processing first data representing a description of a page of a document that is associated with a plurality of cell lines and a plurality of objects to generate second data. The second data represents, for a given cell line of a plurality of cell lines, whether objects of the plurality of objects intersect in the given cell line. The technique includes generating raster image data for the given cell line for a printer based on the second data.
PRINTER
A printer includes a print engine, a processor, and a memory. The print engine is configured to print an image on a print medium. The memory stores instructions, the instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the printer to perform: in a case where a plurality of layers is included in a document file that is acquired from one of a storage medium connected to the printer and an apparatus configured to communicate with the printer, determining whether the plurality of layers includes a selection target layer that is a layer corresponding to a same language as a language indicated by language information acquired from an information source; in response to determining that the plurality of layers includes the selection target layer, determining a layer including the selection target layer as a print target layer; and controlling the print engine to print the print target layer.
