Display stack topologies for under-display optical transceivers
In some embodiments, a display stack includes a set of light-emitting elements, and a display backplane that includes a set of conductors and is electrically coupled to the set of light-emitting elements. A conductor in the set of conductors has a length, and a curved edge extending along at least a portion of the length. In some embodiments, a display stack includes a set of light-emitting elements; a set of transistors, electrically coupled to the set of light-emitting elements; and a set of conductors, electrically coupled to the set of transistors. The set of transistors may be electrically coupled to the set of conductors at a set of conductive pads. A plurality of conductive pads in the set of conductive pads is coupled to a single conductor in the set of conductors. The single conductor approaches different conductive pads in the plurality of conductive pads at different angles.
Electronic device, fingerprint sensing control method and fingerprint scanning control method
An electronic device, a fingerprint sensing control method and a fingerprint scanning control method are provided. A sensing region of a display panel is divided into a plurality of fingerprint zones. The electronic device determines at least one target fingerprint zone from the fingerprint zones according to a touched area. The electronic device scans the at least one target fingerprint zone to control the at least one target fingerprint zone for performing fingerprint sensing. The electronic device performs an accelerated scanning operation. The accelerated scanning operation includes: setting a scanning speed corresponding to at least one target scanning group coupled to at least the touched area to a first speed; and setting a scanning speed corresponding to one or more scanning groups other than the at least one target scanning group to a second speed higher than the first speed.
Electronic device, fingerprint sensing control method and fingerprint scanning control method
An electronic device, a fingerprint sensing control method and a fingerprint scanning control method are provided. A sensing region of a display panel is divided into a plurality of fingerprint zones. The electronic device determines at least one target fingerprint zone from the fingerprint zones according to a touched area. The electronic device scans the at least one target fingerprint zone to control the at least one target fingerprint zone for performing fingerprint sensing. The electronic device performs an accelerated scanning operation. The accelerated scanning operation includes: setting a scanning speed corresponding to at least one target scanning group coupled to at least the touched area to a first speed; and setting a scanning speed corresponding to one or more scanning groups other than the at least one target scanning group to a second speed higher than the first speed.
Generating composite stereoscopic images
A system, method or compute program product for generating composite images. One of the systems includes a capture device to capture an image of a physical environment; and one or more storage devices storing instructions that are operable, when executed by one or more processors of the system, to cause the one or more processors to: obtain an image of the physical environment as captured by the capture device, identify a visually-demarked region on a surface in the physical environment as depicted in the image, process the image to generate a composite image of the physical environment that includes a depiction of a virtual object, wherein a location of the depiction of the virtual object in the composite image is based on a location of the depiction of the visually-demarked region in the image, and cause the composite image to be displayed for a user.

Described is an interaction system comprising an imaging device, such as a camera system, configured to image one or more users, wherein the interaction device is configured to determine one of more properties of each user. For example, the interaction system may be used to determine whether the hand of each user is raised or an orientation of each user's face.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING PROXIMITY SENSOR INCLUDED IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display including a plurality of thin film transistors (TFTs), a proximity sensor disposed under the display and including a plurality of light emitting units, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the display and the proximity sensor. The light generated from the proximity sensor may have a lower energy than the work function of silicon included in the plurality of TFTs of the display.

The optical actuation sensor can be partially activated or deactivated.

Moisture-Insensitive Optical Touch Sensors
An electronic device may have an optical touch sensor that is insensitive to the presence of moisture. The display may present images through a display cover layer. A light source may illuminate an external object such as a user's finger when the object contacts a surface of the display cover layer. This creates scattered light that may be detected by an array of light sensors. A metasurface grating may be used to couple light from the light source into the display cover layer at an angle such that total internal reflection within the display cover layer is sustained across the display cover layer even when the display cover layer is immersed in water or otherwise exposed to moisture. Additional metasurface gratings may be formed on the display cover layer to redirect light propagating within the display cover layer away from edges that might otherwise defeat total internal reflection.
IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS
There is provided an image display apparatus that enables an intuitive operation even when a detection target is not able to be inserted into a first space in which a three-dimensional object is visually recognized. A position of a detection target is detected, and a display position of a pointer displayed by a display unit is moved on a basis of a position of the detection target that exists within a second space not overlapping the first space which is a space in which the three-dimensional object is displayed among the position of the detected detection target.
