Systems and methods for maintaining pooled time-dependent resources in a multilateral distributed register
The present disclosure is directed to a novel system for using a distributed register to generate, manage, and store data for interest-pooled time deposit resource accounts. The invention leverages a pooled resource account approach, allowing for multiple disparate resource accounts to benefit from an enhanced interest return by pooling resource accounts. The system components of the invention contemplate the use of distributed register technology to provide a verified ledger of information related to one or more resource accounts, as well as store system data, user data, and metadata related to the movement and management of resources. By using a distributed register approach to store and verify data related to time-dependent resource account services, the invention provides an automated system and methods for enhancing the flow of sensitive verified information, reducing the need for manual review and increasing the speed at which various resource account services can be validated and executed.
Computerized image analysis for automatically determining wait times for a queue area
A computer-implemented method allows a wait time to be determined automatically for a queue area. The queue is part of an environment and includes defined entrance and exit areas. A series of images showing the environment are received over time. A wait time associated with the queue area is determined by detecting a location of a object corresponding to a person in a first one of the images; associating the object with an identifier uniquely identifying the object in the first one of the images matching objects in later images; and determining the wait time based on times associated with an image in which an object associated with the identifier enters the queue area through the defined entrance area and later one of the images in which an object associated with the identifier exits the queue area through the defined exit area. An indication of the wait time is output.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRACKING CONSUMER SPEND BEHAVIORS
Technologies for determining spending behavior of a consumer in a category of interest are disclosed. The spending behavior is based on tracking payment vehicle transactions across a number of merchants. Temporal and geographic parameters are considered to determine if a payment vehicle transaction falls within the category of interest. Based on the payment vehicle transactions and the temporal and geographic parameters, Share of Wallet (SOW) can be determined.
GENERATION OF PERSONALIZED RECOMMENDATIONS
There is provided a client adapted for generating personalized cold-start federated recommendations for a user of the client. The client generates personalized recommendations for three cold-start scenarios, namely i) recommendation of an item to a new user which does not have any history of user-item interactions, ii) recommendation of a new item to a set of the most prospective users where the item has no history, and iii) recommendation of a new item to a new user, where there is no history associated with either the user or the item. The client uses a federated multi-view matrix factorization method to generate cold-start recommendations without transferring users' personal data to a remote server. Further, a server and a content provider for assisting in generating the personalized cold-start recommendations are provided in a federated set-up according to some aspects.
Adaptive validation and remediation systems and methods for credential fraud
Techniques for adaptive validation and remediation are described. In some embodiments, the method includes determining, for a plurality of media service accounts, corresponding fraud suspicion values based on a model. The method also includes identifying a plurality of suspected accounts based on the corresponding fraud suspicion values. The method additionally includes identifying one or more suspected devices and predicting a likelihood of account takeover from each of the one or more suspected devices. The method further includes detecting a triggering event from a device of the one or more suspected devices associated with an account. The method additionally includes executing a validation and/or remediation procedure based on a trigger sensitivity value associated with the triggering event, a respective likelihood of account takeover from the device associated with the account, a respective device risk value associated with the device, and a respective fraud suspicion value associated with the account.
Detecting fraudulent user accounts using graphs
A fraud detection system is disclosed that detects potential fraudulent behavior associated a user account by identifying attributes of the user account that share attributes with one or more known fraudulent user accounts. The set of shared attributes for a user account are identified by constructing a bipartite graph comprising a set of user account nodes and a set of attribute nodes associated with the set of user account nodes. A match score for the user account is computed based on the set of shared attributes. Actions to be taken for the user account are identified based on the match score. The actions may include tagging the user account as potentially fraudulent. The actions can be used by a user (e.g., an administrator) of an organization to more intelligently determine appropriate measures to be taken for the potentially fraudulent user account.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AWARE PRODUCT REFURBISHING
Methods, systems, and computer program products for environmental impact aware product refurbishing are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes obtaining information for products comprising images of the products and location-specific demand data; determining product embeddings of the products based on the images, wherein each of the product embeddings encodes attributes of the corresponding product; creating one or more refurbished designs of each given one of the products based on the initial image of the given product and one or more design constraints; calculating an environmental impact score and a demand impact score associated with each of the created refurbished designs, wherein the demand impact score is based on the location-specific demand data; generating a recommendation to refurbish at least one of the products in accordance with at least one of the refurbished designs based on the environmental impact scores and the demand impact scores.
GEO JAVASCRIPT OBJECT NOTATION (JSON)-BASED ETHNIC CLASSIFIER AND SEARCH ENGINE FOR AN ONLINE SEARCH TOOL
A computerized method useful for managing an online employee search tool and recruitment platform comprising: providing a searchable online database of diverse candidates qualified for a specified set of specialized and skilled positions, wherein a job title of candidate is associated with each candidate, and wherein an ethnicity is associated with each of the candidates; dynamically determining an ethnicity of each candidate in the online database; providing an online employee search tool configured to implement sourcing services of the searchable on line database by: receiving a search query comprising a search for the job title of each candidate, a ethnicity of each candidate, implementing a specified type of search for the job title and ethnicity, retrieving a set of search results based on their relevancy to the job title and the ethnicity, and ordering the set of search results for the set of candidates with the ethnicity based on a relevancy of each candidate's qualifications and experience to the job title; and displaying the ordered set of search results.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GLOBAL DYNAMIC HIERARCHICAL ORDERING SYSTEM
A unified ecommerce platform system that enables sellers to acquire in depth insight into their business market and consumers utilizing a centralized cloud-based platform with enhanced consumer purchasing and information gathering abilities and allows users enhanced granular security tools and information for purchase.
SELECTING A WAREHOUSE LOCATION FOR DISPLAYING AN INVENTORY OF ITEMS TO A USER OF AN ONLINE CONCIERGE SYSTEM BASED ON PREDICTED AVAILABILITIES OF ITEMS AT THE WAREHOUSE OVER TIME
An online concierge system allows users to order items from a warehouse, which may have multiple warehouse locations. The online concierge system provides a user interface to users for ordering the items, with the user interface providing an indication of whether an item is predicted to be available at the warehouse at different times. To predict availability of an item model at different times, the online concierge system selects data from historical information about availability of items at one or more warehouses based on temporal, geospatial, and socioeconomic information about observations of historical availability of items at warehouses. The online concierge system accounts for distances between observations and a time and geographic location in a feature space to select observations for predicting item availability at the time and the geographic location.
