HOSPITAL BED HAVING TURN ASSIST PANELS
A number of patient beds are disclosed. Some patient beds have siderails that are movable by a patient so that the patient can egress from the bed without interference from the siderails. Various caregiver control panels and patient control panels for controlling features and functions of a patient bed are also disclosed. For example, a cart with caregiver control inputs, including hand inputs on a graphical user interface (GUI) and foot inputs, is disclosed. Patient positioning and transfer devices are also disclosed. Various types of in-bed physical therapy devices are also disclosed.
PERSON SUPPORT APPARATUS HAVING EXERCISE THERAPY FEATURES
A person support apparatus includes a support surface having a patient facing surface and includes a head section, a seat section, and a foot section, the head section and the foot section being rotatable with respect to the seat section. One or more actuators are provided to rotate the head section and the foot section with respect to the seat section. At least one strain gauge is provided proximate the patient facing surface of the support surface to detect a change in pressure against at least one of the head section and the foot section. A controller is configured to transmit a signal to one or more of the actuators to rotate a corresponding one of the head section or the foot section in response to receiving data from the at least one strain gauge indicating a change in pressure that exceeds a predetermined reduction in pressure.
Mobility Strap Device
Embodiments disclosed include devices for increasing bed (or sofa, chair, car-seat, etc.) mobility. Various embodiments are provided that may include a bed-strap, a fastening end, a hand-grip, and a pull-strap. Various embodiments of pull strap connector structures may provide types of engagements of the pull strap with a pull strap connector.
Mobility strap device
Embodiments disclosed include devices for increasing bed mobility. A mobility strap apparatus includes a bed-strap; a fastening end coupled to the bed-strap; and a hand-grip coupled to the top surface of the bed-strap. Rigid affixing of the bed-strap to a bed provides stable support to users when moving or stabilizing oneself on a bed. A mobility strap grid provides a bed-strap configured to be longitudinally aligned with a bed; a bed-strap configured to be laterally aligned with the bed, intersecting and substantially perpendicular to the longitudinally aligned bed-strap; a fastening end coupled to a bed-strap; and a hand-grip coupled to the top surface of a bed-strap.
Clamp and patient lifting aids using the clamp
Disclosed is an assembly comprising a clamp, strap and rod. The strap is provided for suspending a load from the rod and/or clamp. The clamp comprises a gripping part for gripping around the rod, enabling a clamping of the clamp on the rod. The strap engages with the clamp along a first and second contact line. Two adjacent strap parts form an angle around the first contact line. When a load is suspended from the strap, the strap exerts a force on the clamp at the first contact line, pushing the clamp at the first contact line in a closing direction, pressing the gripping part against the rod. The gripping part is resilient and provided with a pretension for pressing against the rod when no load is suspended from the strap. Further disclosed are lifting aids using the clamp for lifting/repositioning patients with physical limitation.

A patient support apparatus includes a base frame, lift mechanism supporting an upper frame relative to the base frame, a load frame, and a plurality of deck sections, a patient support surface, and a number of barriers positioned about the patient supporting surface. The patient support apparatus includes a notification system for visually notifying a caregiver of a condition or status of a component of the patient support apparatus.
PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUS HAVING PATIENT LIFT
A patient bed has a siderail that is movable to a raised position elevated over a central region of a mattress of the patient bed for use as part of a patient lift of the patient bed. In a lowered position, the siderail blocks egress of a patient from the mattress. In the raised position of the siderail, a sling arm is coupleable to the siderail and a sling is coupleable to hooks of the sling arm.
Mover Device for Persons with Reduced Mobility
A mover device for the body of persons with reduced mobility, suitable and configured for being positioned above an installation. The device comprises a frame and a motor-driven operating portion at least partially overhanging the installation, which comprises a plurality of support elements movable according to at least one degree of freedom and configured for at least partially supporting the weight of a person, for moving at least a respective part of the person's body with respect to the remaining parts of the body. The device also comprises at least one housing and gripping element to house and grip parts and/or joints of a body which can be engaged by a respective support element and configured for operating at least between a rest condition wherein it can engage a part of a body and a grip condition wherein it engages a part of a body.
PATIENT BED HAVING FOOTBOARD PEDAL APPARATUS FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY
A number of patient beds are disclosed. Some patient beds have siderails that are movable by a patient so that the patient can egress from the bed without interference from the siderails.
