POP DISPLAYS AND WIRELESS BEACON BASED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSMITTING CONTENT TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A wireless network gateway may also receive the wireless signals. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and/or the wireless network gateway where the remote server includes a database with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays.
Mall Media Coupon Kiosk
A self-service automated coupon kiosk system may be located at entrances to malls or other commercial establishments. It may be used at the entrance to specific retailers in the mall to draw attention to offers of the specific retailer. The system is ideally designed to be employed in high traffic areas or zones. The kiosk is designed to continuously deliver fresh, rotating coupons, special offers and video and messages to attract shoppers as the enter the mall, such coupons being specifically directed to retailers in the mall. In addition, the system may also be used as an ATM location. The unit can also serve as a marketing channel for the mall itself or for specific retailers. A high capacity plastic gift card printer may also be incorporated into the unit. Any combination from one to all of these features may be used depending upon the application.

A personalized advertisement and checkout system and method for generating personalized merchant advertisements to specific device users includes a communications network, an advertisement system, at least one merchant administrator operable by a respective merchant user, at least one partner system and at least one user device operable by a respective device user. Each of the advertisement system, the merchant administrator, the partner system and the user device includes a processor and a memory in communication with the processor. Each of the merchant administrator and the user device includes a display and a user interface, the user interface of the merchant administrator receiving input from the respective merchant user and the user interface of the user device receiving input from the respective device user. The advertisement system ranks merchant campaigns entered by the merchant users and generates a list of merchant offer advertisements that is displayed on the user device.
Offline shopping guide method and apparatus
Embodiments of the specification provide offline shopping guide methods and apparatuses. One method includes: obtaining a user identifier (ID) of a user and a scene ID of a shopping venue; obtaining historical offline shopping data and historical online shopping data of the user according to the user ID, and obtaining commodity information of the shopping venue according to the scene ID; obtaining a commodity to be recommended to the user according to the historical offline shopping data, the historical online shopping data, and the commodity information; and sending augmented reality (AR) display information of the recommended commodity to a smart terminal of the user, so that the smart terminal displays the recommended commodity to the user in an AR mode.

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method may include determining a transactional state of a point of sale (POS) system and, upon determining the transactional state, when the POS system is not in transactional use, automatically switching a display panel of the POS system from a first position to a second position. Disclosed herein are electronic shelf-tag systems and methods thereof. For example, an electronic shelf-tag system includes, in some embodiments a fascia configured to mount to a shelf of a shelving unit and a light-emitting diode (“LED”) array coupled to the fascia. The LED array is configured to display product information in a shared electronic shelf tag for two or more products respectively stocked in two or more consecutive shelf slots when a horizontal resolution of a portion of the LED array corresponding to at least one shelf slot of the two or more consecutive shelf slots is insufficient for displaying the product information for the product stocked in the at least one shelf slot.
System and method for retail customer tracking in surveillance camera network
A retail customer tracking system and method is disclosed. The retail system preferably includes at least one surveillance camera for generating image data of customer interactions with products and at least one point of sale camera for generating image data of customers at a point of sale area. An analytics system determines product interactions from the image data of the customer interactions with the products and stores facial image information and the product interactions for each of the customers. When a customer arrives at a point of sale area, facial image information of the customer determined from the image data of the point of sale camera is matched to previously stored facial information for the customer, and associated product interactions for the customer are provided to a management system. The management system then provides sale cues based on the product interactions to the customer at the point of sale area.

A method of upselling ordering items includes: in response to detection of a patron at or approaching an ordering terminal, capturing N sets of identification data for the patron using N passive patron identification systems, respectively, wherein N is an integer greater than one; calculating an overall confidence value indicating a level of confidence that the patron is associated with a unique patron identifier based on N comparisons of the N sets of identification data with N sets of stored identification data, respectively, associated with the unique patron identifier; based on the unique patron identifier, retrieving stored data indicative of an ordering item that is to be subliminally suggested to the patron during ordering; using the ordering terminal, displaying an ordering menu; and, when the overall confidence value is greater than a predetermined value, subliminally suggesting the ordering item to the patron while the patron places an order.
SECURE MULTI-FACTOR TOKENIZATION-BASED PUSH/RESPONSE COMMERCE PLATFORM
Example methods, apparatuses, and systems are presented that allows a user to make a secure purchase online, directly through accessing an online advertisement and without being redirected to multiple, cumbersome webpages to process different pieces of information to complete the transaction, while still leveraging existing e-commerce entities, such as existing payment platforms and existing ad/content networks. The present system includes a commerce ads engine (CA engine) that interfaces with the user through an app associated with the CA engine, a tokenization platform for authentication of the user, and a merchant providing relevant offer and check out information about a product being advertised in an online ad. The present system integrates new information embedded into online advertisements that interfaces with the CA engine and allows for the user to reliably provide authentication while purchasing the desired product, and without accessing or being redirected to multiple websites as is conventionally done.
