The present invention is directed to a mattress which is useful for people who have had gluteal surgery such as but not limited to gluteoplasty, commonly known as a Brazilian Butt Lift, Butt Implants, Fat Transfer, Fat Grafting, Liposuction, Pilonidal cystectomy, or other procedures affecting the lower rear area of a human trunk, which result in a person being uncomfortable when lying supine or sitting after the surgery or other procedure. The mattress in certain embodiments has an opening with at least one tube-shaped cushion which is adjustable for people with different body sizes and stages of recovery. The at least one tube-shaped cushion may be continuous, toroidal, round, square, rectangular, triangular, or any regular or irregular shape that would fit the buttocks. The at least one tube-shaped cushion may be inflatable, detachable, or permanently affixed in the opening. The mattress in certain embodiments may have the at least one tube-shaped cushion concentrically placed. The mattress in certain embodiments may have a raised back support for comfort along with a raised foot support to reduce the chance of blood clots. In other embodiments, the mattress can have an opening on a top or first side and a larger opening on a bottom or second side so that the mattress is reversible to accommodate different body sizes and stages of recovery. In other embodiments, the mattress may have at least one tube-shaped cushion in an opening on a top or first side and a larger opening on a bottom or second side to accommodate different body sizes and different stages of recovery. In other embodiments, the mattress may have a lumbar and thigh support which may be adjustable. The mattress and the tube-shaped cushion may be self-inflating in the case that they are inflatable.

A bed for hospital stays, of the type that can be articulated and comprising a plurality of sections which correspond to the regions of the back, buttocks, thighs and legs of the in-patient; one of the sections, the one that corresponds to the buttocks region, has at least one portion thereof which is movable and articulated to the section of the backrest and, when the backrest is lifted, is translated, exposing a curved element, which extends from the lying surface downwardly, and being inclined on the curved element contributes together with it to form a cradle for the buttocks region.

The invention relates to a cushion for use when lying in a prone position after breast surgery, the cushion (10) having a base body (12) with a recess (14). The underlying object of the present invention is to provide a cushion which can be used after breast surgery for lying or sleeping in a prone position and which also offers a high degree of lying comfort and protection for the operated breast. For this purpose, the base body (12) is formed of two layers and has a first harder layer (36) of foamed plastic and a second softer layer (38) of a viscoelastic material.

An adjustable chair that converts into a bed with a hole in the center of the chair's seating area and ⅔ down when converted into a bed. The purpose of the hole is so that no pressure is applied to the gluteal are when sitting down or when lying down. This is essential after an operation on the gluteal area. The chair is a folding frame with cloth arranged on the frame and is also composed of a tripod. It also has an armrest to allow more comfort to user.

The subject invention is a device intended for use where support or restriction of motion of a body part is desired. The subject of the present invention is the formation of a network of lattice intrusions into the matrix of the device so that elements of the lattice can be removed to form a depression in the matrix of the device that conforms to the anatomy of the region that is being supported and positioned while offloading pressure.

In a method for managing human waste collection for a bed-ridden user, a pelvic support member with an aperture and another opening is suspended over a mattress. A bag fitting the aperture is removably attached to the pelvic support member below the aperture. The pelvic support member is adjusted to change a geometric parameter of the aperture and/or the opening. The pelvic support member includes longitudinally extending flexible elongate elements each slidably attached to transverse edge elements of the pelvic support member and further includes transversely extending flexible elongate elements each slidably attached to longitudinal edge elements of the pelvic support member. The adjusting of the pelvic support member includes sliding at least one of the flexible elongate elements along respective ones of the transverse edge elements and the longitudinal edge elements.

An anti-bedsore mattress with the improved weight-bearing component consists of a mattress comprising triple layer of natural latex foam. The uppermost layer made of natural latex foam, with a density of 55-70 kilograms per cubic meter. The middle layer made of natural latex foam coated fabric, with a density of the natural latex foam of 100-120 kilograms per cubic meter. This layer contains at least one opening to reduce the pressure on the body when in use. The bottom layer consists of natural latex foam with the highest density between 70 to 100 kilograms per cubic meter with an opening positioned to accommodate the breech of the user and with a distributed placement of natural latex foam bars, combined with additional openings positioned to accommodate the heels of the user feet.

The invention relates to a convertible mattress that can be used for regular and/or medical purposes with a channel which facilitates a person's shoulder and/or arm to allow a person to sleep comfortably with reduced pain or minimal pain. The size and shape of the mattress can be such that it fits any type of bed including, but not limited to full, twin, queen or king size bed. The mattress can also have the channel of the invention on each side, opposite ends which facilitates rotating or flipping the mattress, right side or left side or at the head or foot of the mattress.
