AUTOMATIC ANALYZER
An automatic analyzer for analyzing samples is disclosed. The automatic analyzer comprises a housing at least partially enclosing at least one analyzing instrument, a drawer configured to be loaded with a plurality of reagent vessels, wherein the drawer is moveable in a longitudinal direction relative to the housing between a retracted position, in which the drawer is retracted in the housing, and extended positions, in which the drawer is extended from the housing, wherein the drawer defines arrangement positions for the reagent vessels at least in a first row parallel to the longitudinal direction, and a first detector associated with the first row and configured to identify the reagent vessels at a first detection position when arranged in the first row.
Instrument for cassette for sample preparation
A parallel preceding system for processing samples is described. In one embodiment, the parallel processing system includes an instrument interface parallel controller to control a tray motor driving system, a close-loop heater control and detection system, a magnetic particle transfer system, a reagent release system, a reagent pre-mix pumping system and a wash buffer pumping system.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INDICATING REAGENT STATUS AND TISSUE PROCESSOR
An apparatus and a method for indicating a reagent status in a reagent bottle in a tissue processor and a tissue processor are provided. The apparatus includes a detector, a controller, and an indicator. The detector is configured to detect the reagent status. The controller is configured to generate a control signal based on the reagent status. The indicator is configured to generate a signal for indicating the reagent status based on the control signal. The apparatus may intuitively indicate the reagent status for an operator, such that the operator may replace the reagent timely and accurately, avoiding reagent replacement error.
QUALITY CONTROL SUPPORT METHOD, QUALITY CONTROL SUPPORT SYSTEM, QUALITY CONTROL SUPPORT DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
A quality control support method for displaying a control chart of quality control related to an analyzer that measures a subject sample, the method comprising: generating a first control chart showing results of measured quality control substances by the analyzer in a first period; receiving a designation of a second period different from the first period, the second period being shorter than the first period and at least partially overlapping with the first period; generating a second control chart showing results of the measured subject samples by the analyzer in the second period; displaying the generated first control chart; and displaying the generated second control, is provided.
PRINTER FOR PRINTING ON HISTOLOGY LABORATORY CONSUMABLES
A printer for printing on histology-laboratory consumable articles (16) includes a control apparatus (8), which is configured to receive analog or digital image signals of a target impression image pattern, and an optical reading apparatus (13). The optical reading apparatus (13) reads an impression (18) printed on a histology-laboratory consumable article (16) by the printing device (4), generates analog or digital impression image signals relating to the impression (18) that has been read, and transfers the impression image signals to the control apparatus (8). The control apparatus (8) evaluates the impression image signals received from the optical reading apparatus (13) by comparing them with the analog or digital image signals of the target impression image pattern and determines at least one quality parameter relating to the impression (18).
TEST ELEMENT ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR THE ANALYTICAL EXAMINATION OF A SAMPLE
A test element analysis system for the analytical examination of a sample comprising: at least one evaluation device with at least one test element holder and at least one measuring device for measuring a change in a measuring zone of a test element; at least one barcode reader comprising at least one circuit board having a front side facing the barcode of the test element positioned in the test element holder and a reverse side facing away from the test element, wherein at least one electronic control element of the barcode reader is disposed on the circuit board and wherein the circuit board comprises at least one cavity penetrating the circuit board; at least one camera carrier element; and at least one camera electrically connected to the camera carrier element, with the camera carrier element and the camera being positioned such that the camera observes the barcode through the cavity.
Reagent cartridge
Provided is a reagent cartridge configured to be set in a genetic testing device and the reagent cartridge includes a plurality of reagent containers in which a reagent is filled, and a holder formed with a plurality of opening parts in which the reagent containers are loaded and configured to hold the reagent containers loaded in the opening parts, in which the holder holds the reagent containers with an allowance in a vertical direction in a state in which the reagent cartridge is set in the genetic testing device.
Diagnostic test reader system
A diagnostic test reader system including two or more reader modules and at least one mother module is provided. Each of the reader modules includes a unique code and is configured for reading a specific test cartridge type. Each of the reader modules is configured to be in data communication with the mother module for receiving instructions from the mother module and for transmitting read and/or derived data to the mother module. The mother module is configured for communicating individually with each of the reader modules.
Method and apparatus to automatically transfer and open a reagent container
Embodiments are directed to transferring and opening reagent containers for use in a clinical analyzer in an in vitro diagnostics (IVD) environment. Contents of a reagent container may be automatically recorded, and the container is positioned and opened, making available its contents to a transfer probe. A set of mechanical fingers open and close relative to one another, to release and grip the reagent container on opposite sides thereof for transferring the container. Once the container is positioned, the mechanical fingers raise and are positioned above a seal concealing the contents of the reagent container. The fingers are configured to close together and travel in a downward trajectory to pierce the seal. The reagent container is originally presented as an un-opened package to prevent spillage and to control reagent life expectancy. According to an embodiment, a method of performing a cycle unload, transfer, and load, without operator intervention, is provided.
NETWORKED AIR QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM
A networked air quality monitoring system. Such a system could provide information beyond the user's local instrument on air quality over a much larger area. This information could be used by a user to make decisions about frequenting particular areas based on the results, or to alert them to changing conditions in the area so that the user might act before local conditions change.
