An electrical connector body is provided includes first and second housing portions formed from molded plastic. The housing portions include first and second interface surfaces that are configured to butt against one another to define a housing and one or more electrical components are disposed within an interior of the housing. The one or more electrical components may comprise connectors of a male or female cord cap, an in-line surge suppression circuit, and/or a compact automatic transfer switch. In one implementation, each of the first and second connector body portions may include a strain relief extension for engaging an electrical cord and a compression member (3691) may be disposed over the strain relief extensions to secure together the first and second connector body portions. The compression member may be selected from a set of compression members based on a size of the electrical cord.

Connector

A connector includes a first connector housing including a first wall. The first connector housing is attachable to a second connector housing such that the first wall opposes a second wall of the second connector housing. The first connector housing includes: a fitting chamber defined at least by the first wall, the fitting chamber allowing a counterpart connector housing to be fitted therein; and an engaging arm provided on the first wall, the engaging arm being configured to engage an engaged arm provided on the second wall of the second connector housing when the first connector housing is completely attached to the second connector housing. The engaging arm serves as an attachment state detection mechanism configured to detect an incomplete attachment state in which the first connector housing is incompletely attached to the second connector housing.

Electrical interface assembly

An interface assembly includes an interface housing including a receiving portion arranged inside an interface cavity of the interface housing, for receiving an electrical contact element. The interface housing further includes at least two latches and an electrical contact element for transferring electrical power. The electrical contact element includes a busbar portion and a plug-in portion. The busbar portion includes at least two latching noses. Each of the at least two latching noses is assigned to one of the at least two latches to block a release movement of the assigned latching nose upon mating of the electrical contact element and the interface housing.

Connecting device having a plug connector and a mating connector

Quick release device for releasing an electrical modular connector from an electrical jack
11502451 · 2022-11-15 ·

A quick release device for releasing an electrical modular connector of a network cable from an electrical jack comprises a connector boot attached to the network cable and assembled with the electrical modular connector; a passage formed on the connector boot; a slide insert having a first end and a second end opposed to the first end, wherein the slide insert is positioned through the passage, wherein the first end faces the electrical jack; and a rotatable hook having a free end and a pivot end configured to pivot on the first end of the slide insert along a longitudinal direction of the slide insert, wherein the free end of the rotatable hook engages with a clip and causes the clip to move relatively downwardly to release the electrical modular connector from the electrical jack when the slide insert moves away from the electrical jack.

Charging Socket

The present invention discloses a charging socket. The charging socket has a housing; a charging terminal installed in the housing; an electric adapter installed in the housing; and a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the charging terminal. The electric adapter has a body and a connection terminal provided in the body, and the connection terminal has an input end and an output end. The temperature sensor has a flexible lead, which is electrically connected to the input end of the connection terminal, so as to transmit the sensing signal of the temperature sensor to the output end of the connection terminal. In the present invention, the flexible lead of the temperature sensor is electrically connected to the connection terminal of the electric adapter in the charging socket without passing through the rear cover of the charging socket. Therefore, the installation of the temperature sensor and the structure of the charging socket are simplified, the assembly efficiency is improved, and the production cost is reduced.
