Connector and Connector Assembly
A connector and a connector assembly are disclosed. The connector assembly can have: a first connector having a first housing on which a first latch device is formed; and a second connector having a second housing on which a first snap slot and a padlock hole are formed. When the first connector and the second connector are assembled to a pre lock position, the first latch device is locked into the first snap slot and blocked by a padlock locked into the padlock hole to prevent the first connector and the second connector from being further assembled to a final lock position. Therefore, the present invention can reliably prevent the first connector and the second connector from being accidentally matched together and improve the safety.
CONNECTOR APPARATUS WITH SWITCH FOR IMPROVING CONTACT RELIABILITY
Proposed is a connector apparatus with a switch for improving contact reliability, the connector apparatus being capable of enabling an operator to electrically test proper coupling of a connector position assurance member. When the connector position assurance member is completely coupled to a first housing, a pair of switches are stably brought into contact with each other in a state of being inserted into a switch guide recess formed in a second leg portion. Therefore, the pair of switches can be safely protected from foreign substances, etc., thereby improving the contact reliability of the first and second switches.
Plug-in connector with a locking mechanism
A connecting plug includes a locking pin arranged at a connector face. The locking pin has at least one latching element and a counter-piece. The latching element is configured for engaging with at least one counter-latching element of a second connector part. The locking pin includes a spring element configured for resiliently pressing the at least one latching element and the counter-piece against each other. The counter-piece is shaped and configured for pressing the at least one latching element in a radially outward direction and for positively locking the at least one latching element in an engaged position as soon as the at least one latching element is engaged with the at least one counter-latching element.
Electrical connection box
An electrical connection box is provided with a connector-attached board and a shield case that internally houses the connector-attached board. The connector-attached board is provided with a circuit board, a connector that is fixed to the circuit board and that engages with a mating connector, and an attachment that is attached to the connector. The shield case surrounds the circuit board and is provided with an upper short wall portion and a lower short wall portion that include a connector opening for facing the connector outside. The attachment is provided with a waterproof portion that covers the periphery of an engagement surface of the connector that faces the mating connector, and the waterproof portion is provided with a waterproof wall that covers the periphery of the connector and the mating connector.
Round plug having locking system
On a round plug, outwardly directed detent hooks are arranged between a plug-in region and a contact carrier portion of an insulating body or a base portion of the round plug housing. A mating connector has, on a plug-in side of a threaded portion, an inwardly directed circumferential or interrupted detent lug. The detent arms do not need to reach through the threaded portion. The detent arms can therefore be made particularly strong, and the inner thread can be continuous. The retaining forces of the locking/screwing are thus very high, and the detent arms for example can be integrally molded on a plastic insulation body, and thus be formed in one piece therewith, for simplified production. Operation and manufacture are significantly simplified.
Plug connector and connector assembly
The present disclosure discloses a plug connector including an insulating housing, a number of plug terminals and a cable. The insulating housing includes a width direction extending along a left-and-right direction. The plug terminals are retained by the insulating housing and arranged in two rows in the width direction of the insulative housing. The plug terminals of each row are arranged in an upper-and-lower direction and spaced away from each other in the upper-and-lower direction. Each plug terminal extends along a front-and-back direction. The cable includes a number of core wires correspondingly and electrically connected with the plug terminals. A connector assembly including the plug connector and the mated socket connector is also disclosed in the present disclosure.
Socket connector and connector assembly
The present disclosure discloses a socket connector including an insulating base and a number of socket terminals. The insulating base includes an outer plastic frame defining a receiving channel and an inner plastic block received in the receiving channel. The inner plastic block includes two sidewalls opposite to each other in a left-and-right direction. The socket terminals are arranged in two rows by positioning symmetrically and respectively on the two sidewalls of the inner plastic block. The socket terminals of each row are arranged in an upper-and-lower direction and spaced away from each other in the upper-and-lower direction. Each socket terminal extends along a front-and-back direction perpendicular to both the left-and-right direction and the upper-and-lower direction. A connector assembly including the socket connector and the mated plug connector is also disclosed in the present disclosure.
Modular plug connector system
Embodiments of a modular plug connector system for vehicles may include a module housing having a first housing part with a plurality of uniform first plug places having interfaces for receiving a respective first adapter from a first adapter group, wherein the first adapter group has a plurality of first adapters of different types which have, on their outer sides, uniform interfaces for positioning in the first plug places of the first housing part, wherein the adapters have a different internal geometry for accommodating differently designed plug connectors. The module housing also has a second housing part with a plurality of uniform second plug places having interfaces for receiving a respective second adapter from a second adapter group, wherein the second adapter group has a plurality of second adapters of different types which have, on their outer sides, uniform interfaces for positioning in the second plug places of the second housing part, wherein the adapters have a different internal geometry for accommodating differently designed mating connectors. The outer sides of the first adapter and the second adapter and their corresponding plug places are may form a primary safety device for securing the adapters in their respective plug places when the corresponding adapter is inserted into an end position in the plug places.
Secondary securing means, electrical plug connector and electrical plug connection
A secondary securing means for locking an electrical plug connection of a first electrical plug connector and a mating plug connector includes a securing element and a plug-in prevention means. By a closing movement, the securing element can be moved from a preliminary latching position into a locking position in which the securing element mechanically secures the plugged plug connection. The securing element is operatively connected to the plugging prevention means in such a way that, during the closing movement of the securing element, the plug-in prevention means can be moved from a home position in which the plugging prevention means blocks a complete insertion of the mating plug connector into the first plug connector, to a clearing position in which the plug-in prevention means clears the displacement path between the mating plug connector and the first plug connector complete insertion of the mating plug connector into the first plug connector The plug-in prevention means moving from the home position into the clearing position by rotation about an axis of rotation or along a support element.
