Plug connector having a latch and a rod slidable to release the latch
A plug connector includes: an insulative housing having a front mating end and a rear terminating end; a conductive module received in the insulative housing and exposed to the front mating end; a rod mounted to the insulative housing; a latch mounted to the insulative housing, the latch including a securing portion, a latching portion movable between a latched position and a released position, and an operating portion operable by the rod to move the latching portion to the released position; and a pulling tab connected to the rod, wherein the insulative housing includes a pair of grooves and the rod is slidable in the pair of grooves by the pulling tab to operate the operating portion of the latch to move the latching portion to the released position.
Round plug connector comprising a shield connection
The invention relates to a round plug connector for detachably connecting lines, comprising at least one housing element for receiving at least one insulating body and at least one locking element for detachably connecting to a counter plug connector. The housing element also receives at least one circumferential spring element. The spring element is produced for connecting an electromagnetic shield made from an electrically conductive material and has at least one ring retained in a circumferential recess in the housing element and at least one substantially axial wing.
PLUG CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED INSERTION RELIABILITY
A plug connector includes a housing, a built-in circuit board partially located in the housing, and a cable electrically connected to the built-in circuit board. The housing includes a mating surface. The built-in circuit board includes a tongue plate and a number of conductive pads provided on the tongue plate. The housing includes an extension plate extending along a mating direction of the plug connector. The tongue plate and the extension plate protrude beyond the mating surface along the mating direction. The extension plate further protrudes beyond the tongue plate along the mating direction. Two lateral sides of the plug connector also respectively include slots extending through the mating surface. As a result, the insertion reliability of the plug connector of the present disclosure is improved.
PLUG CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED RELIABILITY
A plug connector includes a housing, a built-in circuit board, a cable, two locking arms, a driving member, and a pull strap connected to the driving member. Each locking arm includes a locking protrusion, an abutting portion and a pivot portion. The driving member includes two driving arms. Each driving arm includes a protruding portion to pull the abutting portion. The locking arm is rotatable around the pivot part when the pull strap is pulled by an external force. At the same time, the locking protrusions can move along a thickness direction from a locked position to an unlocked position. The plug connector also includes two return springs for returning the locking arms after the external force is removed. As a result, the reliability of the plug connector of the present disclosure is improved.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR CONDUCTOR ROD HAVING MULTIPLE DEGREES OF FREEDOM
A work machine, such as a hauler at a mining site, includes a conductor rod housing concentric metal tubes for receiving electrical power from a contactor sliding on a power rail. A connection assembly includes lugs branching orthogonally from respective ones of the concentric metal tubes to an exterior of the conductor rod. The lugs include ball-and-socket joints configured to enable semi-spherical movement of the lugs at the exterior with respect to the joints. When attached to the contactor via conductive arms, the connection assembly provides multiple degrees of freedom for the conductor rod relative to the contactor and avoids detachment of the contactor from the power rail.
CONNECTOR RETAINER
A connector retainer attached to a connector device includes a cover, a locking arm, an engagement arm, and an engagement claw. The cover has a surface being flat and extending in a direction parallel to an engagement direction in which a first and second connectors of the connector device are engaged. The cover is configured to cover an outer surface of an engagement maintaining mechanism for maintaining the engagement state of the connectors. The locking arm projects from the surface of the cover in a direction crossing the engagement direction. The engagement arm projects from the surface of the cover in the direction crossing the engagement direction. The engagement claw is disposed at a tip end of the engagement arm, and is configured to engaged with a projection of the second connector.
SHIELD TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR
A shield terminal includes a first outer conductor and a second outer conductor. The first outer conductor includes a barrel portion that is electrically connected to a shield portion of an electric wire, and an engaging portion capable of engaging with a housing, and the second outer conductor includes a main body portion and an extension portion extending rearward from the main body portion. A rear end portion of the extension portion is sandwiched between the barrel portion and the electric wire. A fastener portion is formed on a front side of the second outer conductor relative to the rear end of the extension portion, and a fastening portion capable of coming into contact with the fastener portion in a direction of rotation about the engaging portion is formed forward of the engaging portion of the first outer conductor.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing, a handle, and an arm member. Two sides of the housing are provided with guiding grooves extending in a forward-backward direction. An upper surface of the housing has at least two protrusions. The arm member is connected to the handle. The arm member includes two guiding arms, a connecting wall, and two elastic rods. The guiding arms are respectively movably embedded in the corresponding guiding grooves. The connecting wall is connected to the guiding arms and is located between the guiding arms. Each of the elastic rods includes a bending portion. The elastic rods respectively abut against the protrusions and are arranged in series at the same height.
