Wearable audio device with modular component attachment
Various aspects include wearable audio devices enabling modular component attachment and detachment. In certain implementations, a wearable audio device includes: a headband for contacting a head of a user; an earpiece coupled with the headband for positioning proximate an ear of the user, the earpiece having an electro-acoustic transducer configured to output audio signals; and a slot configured to engage an electronic component, where the slot includes one or more snap-fit and/or friction-fit connectors for selectively engaging the electronic component.
Tablet docking station
An apparatus for mounting an object having one or more electrical contacts within a vehicle, the object. The apparatus comprises a base configured to receive the object, the base comprising a mounting surface and a docking surface. A docking connector is coupled to the docking surface and is configured to electrically connect with the one or more electrical contacts of the object. The docking connector is movable relative to the docking surface between a first position and a second position. When the docking connector is electrically connected with the one or more electrical contacts of the object, a second main surface of the object is positioned obliquely relative to the mounting surface in the first position of the docking connector and the second main surface of the object is aligned in contact with the mounting surface in the second position of the docking connector.
Power distribution terminal
A modular power distribution terminal includes an outer housing containing a chamber and a bottom opening. The outer housing includes a top wall, a pair of spaced end walls and a pair of spaced parallel side walls having first fasteners. At least one module slice is arranged in the outer housing chamber and includes a slice housing including a pair of spaced parallel side walls having first fasteners configured for fastening with the first fasteners of one of the outer housing side walls and a current bar connected with and extending along a length of the slice housing. An input screw connection terminal and at least two output push-in connection terminals are connected with the current bar.
A MODULAR CONNECTOR SYSTEM AND A MODULAR CONNECTOR HAVING TWO OR MORE DETACHABLY SECURED HOUSINGS
A connector may include a first housing configured to detachably secure a first input cable of a first sensor configured to generate a first signal, and a second housing configured to detachably secure a second input cable of a second sensor configured to generate a second signal. The second housing may be configured to transmit the second signal from the second input cable to the first housing. The first housing may be configured to transmit at least one of the first signal and the second signal to an output cable. A coupling of the first housing may be configured to mate with a coupling of the second housing such that the first housing and the second housing are configured to be detachably secured to each other. The coupling may be mechanical, electro-mechanical, or magnetic. Either sensor may be an electrocardiogram sensor or a pulse oximetry sensor.
CLIPPABLE INTERCONNECTION MODULE AND ASSOCIATED CONNECTION CORD
This interconnection module (10) between a connection cord and a connection panel comprises a pair of spring-loaded conductive pins (12) and a molded body (14) in which a portion of said pair of pins (12) is embedded. At least one of the ends (121, 122) of each pin (12) projects from the body (14) and the body (14) forms a hollow volume making the module (10) clippable.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector assembly can include a plug connector mountable to a planar substrate and a receptacle connector configured to receive a plurality of cables and that can mate with the plug connector. The plug connector may include a first inline terminal row and a second inline terminal row exposed on a mounting face to conductively contact the planar substrate. The receptacle connector can include a plurality of terminals having termination ends aligned in common wafer plane that can be conductively terminated with the plurality of cables. The plug connector and the electrical connector are configured to establish electrical channels from the termination ends coplanar with the common wafer plan to the first and second inline terminal rows.

Connection Assembly and Connector with Rotatable Position Assurance
A connection assembly of a connector comprises a connection housing, a locking element and a position assurance device. The connection housing is interconnectable with a counter connection housing along a connection axis. The locking element is movable between a locking position fixing the counter connection housing to the connection housing, and a release position releasing the counter connection housing from the connection housing. The position assurance device movable between a disconnection position, in which the position assurance device permits movement of the locking element from the locking position to the release position, and a blocking position, in which the position assurance device fixes the locking element in the locking position. The position assurance device is rotated about the connection axis on the connection housing when moving between the disconnection position and the blocking position.
Electrode Connector Structure And Cable Assembly
A connector assembly for coupling with one or more electrodes includes one or more cables with wires. A plug is electrically coupled with an end or ends of the cables. An electrode connector structure is electrically coupled with the cables and includes a body that is configured for forming an internal space. A cantilevered first arm has an end that cantilevers toward the internal space. The cantilevered first arm has a rest position and a flexed position. A stationary second arm and arm end extend into the internal space opposite the first arm. At least one of the ends of the cantilevered first arm and stationary second arm include an electrical contact. In the rest position, the end of the cantilevered first arm is positioned opposite the stationary second arm a first distance. In the flexed position, the cantilevered arm, moves away from the stationary second arm to separate the ends to a greater distance to receive the electrode and returns to the rest position to grip the electrode.
MODULAR PLUG
A plug for use in an electrical connector system includes a handle body assembly comprising a handle body and a flange disposed on an end of the handle body. The flange defines a plurality of openings. A sleeve assembly includes a sleeve and a flange disposed on an end of the sleeve. The flange on the sleeve defines a plurality of openings. The openings in the flange on the handle body are aligned with the openings in the flange on the sleeve. A contact assembly is disposed, at least partially, in the sleeve of the sleeve assembly. The contact assembly includes a contact holder and a plurality of contacts coupled to the contact holder.
