Single pair ethernet connector system
In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a connector plug for attachment to a single pair Ethernet cable comprising a pair of conductors, and configured for being received in a connector receptacle. The connector plug includes a first end for receiving the single pair Ethernet cable and a second end having a pair of contacts, each of the contacts comprising a receptacle contact interface, a conductor interface, and an extension to provide an increased width between conductor gripping prongs at the conductor interface while maintaining a consistent spacing between the pair of contacts at the receptacle contact interface with connector plugs configured to mate with different gauge cables. The connector plug comprises a latch for secure attachment to the receptacle and a pull cord connected to the latch and accessible when the connector plug is inserted into the receptacle with other connector plugs for release of the connector plug.
Connector
A connector 10 includes a board-side housing 21 to be installed on a circuit board 100, and mating housings 61A, 61B to be connected to the board-side housing 21. The board-side housing 21 includes front and back walls 26, 27, left and right walls 28, 29 and accommodation chambers 32A, 32B arranged between the front and back walls 26, 27 and between the left and right walls 28, 29 and open upward. The mating housings 61A, 61B include protruding portions 78 exposed above the board-side housing 21 and protruding toward both front and back sides beyond the front and back walls 26, 27 with the mating housings 61A, 61B accommodated in the accommodation chambers 32A, 32B.
Connector assemblies and associated methods
Connector assemblies including a first subassembly having a recessed portion and a pair of locator tracks and a second subassembly having a pair of locator projections, vacuum assemblies including these connector assemblies, and methods of using the same are provided herein.
Terminal with Release Lever
The present invention relates to a terminal (1) with a spring force terminal connection (2) with at least one conductor terminal point (K), an insulating material housing (6), a conductor introduction channel (60), and a release lever (5). The release lever (5) is mounted in the insulating material housing (6) pivotably about a pivot axis (A) extending transverse to a conductor introduction direction (E) of an electric conductor between an idle position with closed conductor terminal point (K) and an actuating position with opened conductor terminal point (K). The release lever (5) has two lever arm portions (50) which are spaced apart from one another and which are immersed on both sides of the conductor introduction channel (60) at least partially into the insulating material housing (6). The lever arm portions (50) have in each case a guide portion (53) which face one another and form between them at least a part of the conductor introduction channel (60). The guide portions (53) in the idle position and/or in the actuating position, as seen in the conductor introduction direction, run toward the conductor terminal point (K) in a manner which narrows the conductor introduction channel (60).
Inlet Charging Plug Detection Sensor
A charging inlet for an electric vehicle includes a housing, a terminal arranged within the housing for engaging with a corresponding mating terminal of a charging plug, and a sensor connectable to a monitoring system of the electric vehicle for detecting the presence of a charging plug installed within the charging inlet.
BOARD-TO-BOARD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ADD-IN CARDS
A board-to-board connector assembly includes first and second connector assemblies and a connector interconnect between the first and second connector assemblies. Each connector assembly includes an outer shell and a connector received in a cavity of the outer shell. The connector has a connector body holding contacts in a card slot, which receives a circuit card edge of an add-in card. The outer shell has an outer board guide configured to engage the add-in card and guide mating of the outer shell with the add-in card. The outer shell has a latch configured to latchably engage the add-in card to secure the connector to the add-in card. The connector interposer electrically interconnects the contacts of the connector assemblies to electrically connect the add-in cards.
MODULAR PLUG CONNECTOR
A modular plug connector having a holding frame having side walls which laterally delimit a receiving space, and at least one plug connector module which can be introduced into the receiving space. The side walls have a plurality of holding-frame-side guide elements and the at least one plug connector module has at least one plug-connector-module-side guide element. The at least one plug-connector-module-side guide element can be plugged into the holding-frame-side guide elements such that the plug connector module is positioned in the receiving space. The side walls have a latching structure and the plug connector module has at least one latching tongue which engages into the latching structure. The at least one plug connector module has at least one functional element with which functional element a functional contact to a functional element of a plug connector module of another plug connector can be established.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing insertable into a receptacle of a mating connector so as to form a connection and a connector position assurance (CPA) element which is movable relative to the housing between a pre-latching and a final latching position. The CPA element prevents the connection from becoming released in the final latching position. The connector further includes a retainer with a receptacle in a connection direction and an opening transverse thereto. The CPA element is insertable into the receptacle of the retainer. A protrusion is formed on the CPA element, wherein movement of the CPA element from the pre-latching to the final latching position is blocked in a case that the protrusion is engaged with the opening, and the movement of the CPA element is permitted in a case that the protrusion is not engaged with the opening.
