GROUNDING ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A grounding electrical connector assembly may have a connector subassembly and a terminal subassembly. The connector subassembly may include a connector housing having a body defining a terminal cavity therein and a ground bar, secured to the connector housing, having electrical contacts extending into the terminal cavity and a portion that secures to grounding structure. The terminal subassembly may include a terminal housing having a main body defining terminal cavities extending therethrough that each receive one of a plurality of terminals, the main body telescopically slidable into and releasably secured to the terminal cavity.
Contact carrier having stable detent device
A contact carrier retains a crimp contact inserted therein at a central collar of the crimp contact in a particularly stable manner and at the same time absorb the highest possible plugging forces. The contact carrier has an insulating body and a retaining plate, which can be mounted thereon on the connection side. Furthermore, the contact carrier has at least one detent element, which, in the unassembled state, can assumed both a position locking the plug contact and a position releasing the plug contact. The detent element is part of the insulating body. The retaining plate also has at least one blocking element, which, in the assembled state, fixes the detent element in the position thereof locking the plug contact and thus prevents the transition of the detent element from the locking position into the releasing position.
Connector with restriction member for latch structure and wire harness having same
A connector applied to a wire harness includes a housing housing a terminal, a front holder assembled to an end portion in an axial direction of the housing, and a restriction member assembled to the housing. One of the housing and the front holder has a latch claw portion that latches the housing and the front holder. The other of the housing and the front holder has a latch arm portion extending along the axial direction and latched to the latch claw portion. The restriction member has a restriction piece that is located adjacent to the latch arm portion that is in a state of being latched to the latch claw portion, the restriction piece restricting displacement of the latch arm portion toward a latch release side.
Power connector system for circuit card assembly
A power connector system for a circuit card assembly includes a board power connector and a cable power connector coupled to the board power connector. The board power connector includes a board housing having cavities that hold power contacts and signal contact channels on the bottom that hold signal contacts. The cable power connector has a cable housing having contact silos holding cable power contacts terminated to power cables. The contact silos and the cable power contacts are received in the cavities of the board housing to mate the cable power contacts with the board power contacts. The cable housing includes a platform below the contact silos holding cable signal contacts at the bottom of the cable housing outside of the contact silos for mating with the board signal contacts when the cable power connector is mated with the board power connector.
Cell-monitoring connector configured to be detachably mounted to fuel cell
A cell-monitoring connector is configured to be detachably mounted to a fuel cell. A housing configured such that a portion thereof is insertable into a receiving space. A pair of lever operators is configured to be movable by a first external pressure in a third direction that intersects the first direction and the second direction. A number of levers are coupled to the pair of lever operators inside the housing. The levers include latching protrusions configured to operate in connection with movement of the lever operators. The latching protrusions are movable between a first position at which the latching protrusions protrude in the third direction from an outer surface of the housing and a second position at which the latching protrusions do not protrude from the outer surface of the housing.
Lamp, lamp driver and lamp lighting system
A lamp, a lamp driver and a lamp lighting system are provided. The lamp includes a lamp housing and a plug connector fixed on the lamp housing, wherein the plug connector includes a plug insulator, a plug terminal group and at least one buckle, the plug insulator includes multiple plug side walls and a plug bottom wall, the multiple plug side walls enclose to form a docking chamber for docking with a socket connector of a lamp driver, the plug terminal group is mounted on the plug bottom wall and is exposed in the docking chamber; the buckle is connected with one plug side wall and forms a V-shaped structure with an outer surface of the plug side wall, and the buckle is configured to fix the plug connector in the socket connector.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ANDROGYNOUS COUPLING AS WELL AS USE
A coupling system comprising a first androgynous coupler and a second androgynous coupler. The first androgynous coupler comprises a first male coupling section having a first recess extending radially and a first female coupling section comprising a first blocking element and a first positioning element. The second androgynous coupler comprises a second male coupling section having a second recess extending radially, where the second male coupling section is configured to form-fit with the first female coupling section. When the second male coupling section is form-fit with the first female coupling section, axial movement of the first positioning element causes the first blocking element to move radially into the second recess to couple the first androgynous coupler to the second androgynous coupler.
Electrical connector assembly mounted upon PCB
An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and the pick-up cap assembled upon the housing of the electrical connector. A plurality of contacts are disposed in the housing and covered by the pick-up cap. The pick-up cap includes a pair of first side walls, and the housing includes a pair of first side faces corresponding to the pair of corresponding first side walls. Each first side face forms a pair of locking recesses. Each first side wall includes an operation section and a pair of latches. The operation section includes a cavity in the first side wall and a raised section above the cavity. Each latch includes a spring arm, and a hook located at the end of the spring arm and engaged within the corresponding locking recess. The latch is located within the boundary of the housing without extending beyond the corresponding side face.
Card edge connector
A card edge connector includes a housing having upper and lower card slots receiving upper and lower module circuit cards of a pluggable module. The card edge connector includes a contact assembly having a contact positioner holding upper and lower contacts. A guide feature guides mating of the contact assembly in the housing. A latching feature latchably secures the contact assembly to the housing. The upper contacts are arranged in first and second upper contact arrays. The lower contacts are arranged in first and second lower contact arrays. Contact tails of the upper and lower contacts are positioned at the bottom of the housing for surface mounting to the host circuit board.
Electrical connector with detection member
A connector includes an outer housing, an inner housing fitted to the outer housing, and a detection member assembled to the outer housing and restricted from being separated in a removal direction. The detection member has a flexible lock arm and a member-side protrusion formed on a free end side of the lock arm and facing an outer-side protrusion in the removal direction in an assembled state. When a locking arm gets over the outer-side protrusion and is locked to the outer-side protrusion, the locking arm moves in an insertion direction while being elastically deformed, and elastically returns after getting over the outer-side protrusion to press the member-side protrusion outward an inner housing accommodating space, so that the lock arm allows the outer-side protrusion and the member-side protrusion to be in a non-facing state in the insertion/removal direction, and allows the detection member to be separated in the removal direction.
