KNITTED HEADGEAR FOR RESPIRATORY INTERFACE
A headgear for a respiratory interface on the head of a user includes a first strap, a second strap, and a junction between the ends of the first strap the second strap. The straps are constructed as a tubular knitted structure having a front side configured to be positioned toward the user and a rear side configured to be positioned away from the user. The junction is constructed as a knitted structure having a front side and a rear side. In at least a portion of the junction, the front side and the rear side are joined to one another. The junction can comprise a gusset that spaces the straps apart from one another.

CPAP system
A water reservoir for use with a medical treatment apparatus includes a reservoir base including a cavity structured to hold a volume of water to humidify a supply of pressurized breathable air. The reservoir base includes a heat conductive portion, wherein the heat conductive portion is configured to thermally engage with a heating assembly of a water reservoir dock associated with the medical treatment apparatus to allow thermal transfer of heat from the heating assembly to the heat conductive portion. The water reservoir includes at least one protrusion that protrudes outwardly from a side of the reservoir base, wherein the at least one protrusion is configured to be fully inserted into at least one slot on a side of the water reservoir dock, and wherein the at least one protrusion only extends partially along the side of the reservoir base.
BREATHING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
Headgear for use with a respiratory mask is described. The headgear comprises a continuous and substantially curved elongate member extending in use below a user's nose and at least two headgear straps capable of attachment to the ends of the elongate member. A mask attachment on the elongate member is disposed to sit below or on one of said user's nose, mouth, upper lip and an inlet to the mask. The attachment is capable of receiving the mask.
APPARATUS FOR TREATING A RESPIRATORY DISORDER IN A PATIENT
An apparatus for treating a respiratory disorder in a patient includes a blower configured to generate a supply of pressurized respiratory air to the patient via an air delivery tube leading to a patient interface; a dock with a heater plate; and a reservoir comprising a conductive portion configured to thermally engage the heater plate.
HUMIDIFICATION OF RESPIRATORY GASES
A system for humidifying respiratory gases has a humidification apparatus, a humidification chamber, a heating apparatus and a sensor. The sensor is configured to determine a characteristic of the gases flow and communicate this to a controller which controls the power supplied to the heating apparatus with respect to information regarding the characteristic of the gases flow. A structure partially encloses the humidification chamber and allows energy loss through a wall of the humidification chamber. The humidification chamber may have features to promote heat loss through the wall of the chamber.
Drying expiratory limb with tailored temperature profile and multi-lumen configuration
A drying expiratory limb of a breathing circuit is provided that is configured to increase or optimize drying of a gas to reduce or prevent condensation. The drying expiratory limb can include a wall that is at least partly made of a breathable material configured to allow transmission of water vapor but substantially prevent transmission of liquid water. The wall includes first and second openings in the wall, the openings respectively configured to receive a gas at a first temperature and a first relative humidity and to allow the gas to exit having a second temperature and a second relative humidity. The drying expiratory limb can be configured to tailor the temperature drop of the gas along the wall to maintain a relative humidity within a targeted range and/or to maintain the gas temperature above its dew point temperature.
