Continuous blood glucose measurement apparatus

The present disclosure relates to a continuous blood sugar measuring device, and provides a continuous blood sugar measuring device which is capable of minimizing additional work of a user in order to attach a body attachment unit, by manufacturing the body attachment unit to be assembled inside an applicator so that the body attachment unit can be attached to the body simply by operating the applicator and, particularly: communicating with an external terminal by providing a wireless communication chip in the body attachment unit so that simple and convenient use is possible and maintenance can easily be performed without the additional work of connecting a separate transmitter; initiating operation by a manipulation of the user, after attaching the body attachment unit to the body, so that an operation initiation time can be adjusted to a suitable time according to the need of the user; and initiating operation in a stabilized state to enable a more accurate measurement of blood sugar.

LATCH MECHANISM FOR PREVENTING LANCET OSCILLATION IN A LANCING DEVICE

A lancing device including a latch that pivots between a non-blocking position allowing a lancet carrier and a lancet to advance and retract through a first forward and reverse lancing stroke and a blocking position preventing further/excess/secondary oscillation of the lancet carrier and lancet. The pivotal latch can pivot about an axis perpendicular (e.g., for an L-shaped latch) or parallel/coaxial (e.g., for a sleeve latch) to the advancement and retraction motion of the lancet carrier and lancet.

Lancing device with ejector

A lancing device with an ejector that is movably retained with a housing in proximity to a lancet and is selectively movable between a home position, a first eject position, an intermediate position defined by contact of the ejector with the lancet, and a second eject position. The ejector is rotatable to move from the home to first eject position and is linearly translatable to move between the first and second eject positions. The ejector includes an arm that extends within the housing and engages the lancet, an exterior portion that is actuated by a user, and a post extending therebetween. The post extends through a slot in the housing which limits the linear movement and direction of the ejector. Upon rotation of the ejector, the arm extends through an opening at the rear of the carriage holding the lancet to permit access to the lancet.
