Lancet removal mechanism for blood sampling device
A lancet removal mechanism for a blood sampling device contains: a stop assembly, a trigger unit, and a control button. The stop assembly includes an inner protrusion. The trigger unit includes a lancet holder and a triggering shaft, wherein the lancet holder is fixed in the stop assembly and has an outer protrusion formed on an outer wall thereof to engage with the inner protrusion of the stop assembly, the lancet holder has an orifice defined therein, and the orifice has a first inner shoulder arranged on a top end thereof, the triggering shaft extends into the orifice of the lancet holder and has a first outer shoulder for engaging with the first inner shoulder of the lancet holder. Furthermore, the control button is fitted on a top end of the triggering shaft.
BLOOD EXAMINATION KIT AND METHOD OF SEPARATING PLASMA OR SERUM
There are provided a blood examination kit with which the procedure carried out by an examination subject is simplified and a method of separating plasma or serum. The blood examination kit includes a blood collection instrument including a diluent and a first container that has an opening formed on one end side and accommodates the diluent; an absorption instrument including a first lid portion member that is arranged on one end side and can seal the opening of the first container, and an absorption member that is arranged on the other end side and absorbs a blood sample; and a separation and sealing instrument including a filtration member that separates plasma or serum from the blood sample diluted with the diluent, a second container that holds the filtration member on the other end side, accommodates the separated plasma or serum, and can be inserted into the first container, a second lid portion member that is arranged on one end side of the second container and can seal the opening of the first container, and a valve member that closes a flow channel between the first container and the second container.
DEVICE FOR DETECTING AT LEAST ONE SUBSTANCE IN THE BLOOD OF AN INDIVIDUAL
The invention relates to a device for detecting at least one substance in the blood of an individual, which comprises a main body and a replaceable sterile head, said replaceable head comprising: means for disinfecting the skin of said individual; means for collecting blood from said individual; means for collecting said blood,
in which the replaceable head comprises means for diluting the blood and in which the replaceable head is functionally connected to the main body of the device
Lancing device with rear adjustment of penetration depth
A lancing device with rear adjustment of penetration depth includes a cap, cap holder, ejection pin and shell, wherein: the lancing device has an external and medium depth adjusting sleeve. The ejection pin is located in the medium sleeve and the external depth adjusting sleeve is sleeved outside the medium sleeve; the external sleeve connects axially and circumferentially to the shell, and a rotary locating mechanism is between the external sleeve and the shell; the medium sleeve is connected circumferentially and axially in a sliding way, and a rotary moving mechanism is between the medium the external sleeve, and the medium includes a passive impact face relative to the active impact face of the ejection pin; the external sleeve includes a manual adjusting ring outside the lancing device at the middle and rear part, and rotates to drive the medium sleeve to move axially, changing the needle tip penetration depth.
INTERSTITIAL FLUID EXTRACTION
A device for collection of interstitial fluid that can perform needle assembly actuation, skin piercing, needle assembly repositioning, and secondary skin piercing. Also described is a method for extraction of ISF that results in a significant volume of extracted ISF. The presently described device and method can be used for interstitial fluid extraction and collection in the medical diagnostics field.
Lancing Device with Ejector
A lancing device with an ejector that is movably retained with a housing in proximity to a lancet and is selectively movable between a home position, a first eject position, an intermediate position defined by contact of the ejector with the lancet, and a second eject position. The ejector is rotatable to move from the home to first eject position and is linearly translatable to move between the first and second eject positions. The ejector includes an arm that extends within the housing and engages the lancet, an exterior portion that is actuated by a user, and a post extending therebetween. The post extends through a slot in the housing which limits the linear movement and direction of the ejector. Upon rotation of the ejector, the arm extends through an opening at the rear of the carriage holding the lancet to permit access to the lancet.
Magnetic lancet device
Embodiments of the present invention provide magnetic lancet devices and methods for driving a lancet. For example, a magnetic lancet device may include a driving mechanism having a plurality of magnets and a lancet coupled to the driving mechanism. A magnetic interaction between the plurality of magnets is configured to drive the lancet from an engaged position to a penetrating position.
DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A point-of-care diagnostic system that includes a cartridge and a reader. The cartridge can contain a patient sample, such as a blood sample. The cartridge is inserted into the reader and the patient sample is analyzed. The reader contains various analysis systems, such as an electrophoresis detection system that uses electrophoresis testing to identify and quantify various components of the blood sample. The reader can process data from the various patient sample analysis to provide interpretative results indicative of a disorder, condition, disease and/or infection of the patient.
DERMAL PATCH FOR COLLECTING A PHYSIOLOGICAL SAMPLE
A device for collecting a physiological sample from a subject includes a lancet with a needle that is configured to puncture the subject’s skin and a cartridge configured to engage with the lancet. The lancet is configured to transition the needle from an undeployed position to a deployed position in response to engagement with the cartridge, thereby allowing the needle to puncture the subject’s skin.
