Child mobility assisting device
In some embodiments, a child mobility assisting device may include a body having a body support surface which may be formed by an upper torso supporting arm, a lower torso supporting arm, a central depression, a right wing, and a left wing. One or more transportation conveyances may be coupled to the body opposite the body support surface. Each transportation conveyance may support the body above a ground surface on a terminal surface while reducing the friction between the body and the ground surface. An arresting brake may also be coupled to the body opposite the body support surface. All or portions of the arresting brake may be positioned between the terminal surface of a wheel and the body support surface of the body so that if a transportation conveyance dips below another transportation conveyance, the arresting brake may then contact the ground surface and arrest the movement of the device.
PERSONAL AIR FILTRATION DEVICE
The invention provides a personal filtration apparatus with a multi-stage filter. In some embodiments each section can be individually replaced for reduced cost
Exercise chair
An exercise chair is disclosed having an adjustable height that functions to exercise the lower body by progressively lowering the height of the seat. By lowering the height of the seat, the user will increase the amount of muscle activation and therefore facilitate lower extremity strengthening. The seat of the exercise chair can be adjusted between 24 inch maximum height to 12 inch minimum height from the floor. The chair may be used as a therapy chair by a therapy professional or by an individual who wants to exercise his or her lower extremities or to facilitate standing by a seated individual.
Transformable baby walker
A transformable baby walker includes an upper frame unit, a support unit, two front retaining members, two rear retaining members, two shell units, four latch members, four actuators, and a plurality of casters. A shell member of each of the shell units has a rocking surface and a mounting surface. Each of the casters is mounted on the mounting surface of a corresponding one of the shell units. Each of the shell units is angularly displaceable between a walker position, where the casters are in contact with a floor surface, and a rocker position, where the rocking surface is in contact with the floor surface.
Compact jumper
A compact jumper for an infant or young child. The compact jumper includes a support frame, at least one resilient member, and a child-receiving apparatus. The support frame is configured for resting on a support surface and the at least one resilient member is coupled to a portion of the support frame. The child-receiving apparatus is supported by the at least one resilient member, with a collar mounting the resilient member to the child-receiving apparatus, and is guided by a portion of the support frame. The child-receiving apparatus is movable with respect to the support surface as the child moves and jumps.
All-terrain baby walker
A height adjustable all-terrain baby walker including a base with one pair of removable treaded first wheels and one pair of interchangeable treaded wheels and a pair of auxiliary alternate skis interchangeable with the interchangeable wheels via insertion rods which engage receptacles in the base. An upper platform is connected to the base by a pair of stacked interconnected mirror image u-shaped support units. A semicircular seat is disposed on the upper platform. A removable canopy is pivotably disposed on the upper platform and has an adjustable angle relative the upper platform. A plurality of handles disposed on the upper platform with one of the handles being a toy securing member.
Walk assisting apparatus integrating walker and walk assistant
A walk assisting apparatus integrating a walker and a walk assistant includes a first body, an elevated bracket connected to the first body, a second body connected to the elevated bracket in a detachable manner and a handgrip connected to the second body in a detachable manner. The first body includes a plurality of first wheels and a first frame. The elevated bracket includes two bracing arms and a loading tray. The second body includes a plurality of second wheels, a second frame and two wedge holes formed on the second frame. The handgrip includes a handgrip bar and two latch tenons connected to two ends of the handgrip bar corresponding to the wedge holes. The invention thus formed can be easily assembled and detached to serve as the walker or the walk assistant.
Synergistic Posture System
The present application pertains to dynamic postural systems for improving the postural response in humans through the use of chairs, walkers, crawlers, wearing devices, harnesses, standing devices, wheelchairs, sports and work equipment or other mobility or seating devices that are designed to provide one or more contact surfaces to corresponding one or more postural contact points on the body, which stimulate proper dynamic postures and postural awareness, while allowing unrestrained movement in activity and without the requirements for physical restraint.
