PARTICULATE FOAM WITH OTHER CUSHIONING
An article of footwear has an upper, an outsole attached to the upper, and a midsole. The outsole includes a ground-engaging surface and an inner surface disposed on opposite sides. The midsole has a footbed and a bottom surface disposed on opposite sides. The bottom surface opposes the inner surface to define a cavity therebetween. The article of footwear also includes a first series of projections extending into the cavity from one of the inner surface and the bottom surface in a first direction toward the other of the inner surface and the bottom surface. The article of footwear also includes a second series of projection extending into the cavity from one of the inner surface and the bottom surface in the first direction toward the other of the inner surface and the bottom surface. The article of footwear also includes a quantity of particulate matter disposed within the cavity.
Tangle free protective roll and jewelry organizer
A tangle free protective roll and jewelry organizer including a smaller rectangular piece of pliable decorative materials upon which a longer rectangular piece of pliable rubberized material is attached. Whereupon the longer rectangular piece of rubberized material extends beyond the decorative material so that when the items are rolled the rubberized material contacts the items thus holding them in place securely and preventing the items from rubbing up against each other potentially causing scratches, tangling or other damage. The protective roll improves the packing process and simplifies it to a matter of laying the items perpendicular to the roll direction on the rubberized materials an inch apart in packing and simply unrolling the roll and lifting the item out to wear, use or put away at the arrived upon destination.

WATER RESISTANT FLOORING UNDERLAYMENT
A method of installing a flooring structure is disclosed. The method includes providing an acoustic insulating layer over a sub-floor layer. The method also includes providing an underlayment layer over the acoustic insulating layer. The provided underlayment layer includes gypsum concrete having a water-resistant additive. Also disclosed is a flooring structure. The flooring structure includes an acoustic insulating layer over a sub-floor layer. The flooring structure also includes an underlayment layer having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The underlayment layer includes gypsum concrete having a water-resistant additive. Additionally disclosed is a gypsum concrete flooring underlayment product. The product includes a mixture of alpha calcium sulfate hemihydrate and beta calcium sulfate hemihydrate. The product also includes a silane-based powder intermixed with the mixture of alpha calcium sulfate hemihydrate and beta calcium sulfate hemihydrate.
SHEET
The present invention provides a sheet, wherein the sheet has an excellent low-gloss feeling; even when oblique light is incident on a surface of the sheet, diffuse reflection of the light is suppressed, the surface is less likely to look white when viewed obliquely, and a design represented on the sheet can be visually recognized; and the sheet has excellent designability. In the sheet, a surface of the sheet has an arithmetic average roughness Ra (JIS B0633: 2001) of 0.7 m or less, and the reflectance at a detection angle equal to a regular reflection angle 5, measured by a variable angle photometer when the surface is irradiated with incident light at an incident angle of 75, is 50% or less of the reflectance at the regular reflection angle.
VIBRATION DAMPING SYSTEM
A reduced vibration structure comprises honeycomb and a vibration damping coating on at least a portion of the internal surface of at least a portion of the cells of the honeycomb. The vibration damping coating is formed by curing a coating composition comprising acrylic polymer or copolymer emulsion and a vibration damping filler. The structure can include an adhesive coupled to both the upper surface and the lower surface of the honeycomb and two pieces of sheathing coupled to the adhesive, one on the upper surface and one on the lower surface of the honeycomb.
FILM AND LAMINATE
Provided are a film including a layer A, and a layer B provided on at least one surface of the layer A, in which an elastic modulus of the layer A at 160 C. is 100 MPa to 2,500 MPa, and a value of a difference L.sup.A-L.sup.B between a value L.sup.A obtained by subtracting a weight residual rate of the layer A at 900 C. from a weight residual rate of the layer A at 440 C. and a value L.sup.B obtained by subtracting a weight residual rate of the layer B at 900 C. from a weight residual rate of the layer B at 440 C. is 80% or less.
SOUND ATTENUATING LAMINATE MATERIALS
Sound absorbing or attenuating laminate flooring materials are provided, which are directed to be used in the production of floor covering, floor panels, furniture panels, cabinets, counter-tops and wall panels. As well, the methods for producing such products are provided. In particular, abrasion resistant panels, with a laminated structure, created by forming an assembly which consists of laminating a heat-activated resin impregnated paper wear layer, a decorative layer with printed graphics or a wood veneer decorative layer, a medium density (MDF) or high-density (HDF) natural fiber-based core and a resin impregnated paper balancing layer. To achieve sound absorbing and/or attenuating properties, any or all paper layers may be pre coated with an additional flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly of the panel, or the natural fiber core panel may be coated with a flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly with the papers. The flexible elastomeric coating, film or material acts to absorb, reduce, and/or ameliorate the sound transmissions inherent in laminated panels.
INORGANICALLY SURFACE-MODIFIED POLYMERS AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THEM
In alternative embodiments, the invention provides articles of manufacture comprising biocompatible nanostructures comprising PolyEther EtherKetone (PEEK) surface-modified (surface-nanopatterned) to exhibit nanostructured surfaces that promote osseointegration and bone-bonding for, e.g., joint (e.g., knee, hip and shoulder) replacements, bone or tooth reconstruction and/or implants, including their use in making and using artificial tissues and organs, and related, diagnostic, screening, research and development and therapeutic uses, e.g., as primary or ancillary drug delivery devices. In alternative embodiments, the invention provides biocompatible nanostructures that promote osseointegration and bone-bonding for enhanced cell and bone growth and e.g., for in vitro and in vivo testing, restorative and reconstruction procedures, implants and therapeutics.
