ECO-FRIENDLY VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING COASTING FOR THE SAME
A method of controlling coasting of an eco-friendly vehicle includes: determining at least one effective event among deceleration events configured with a target speed in a forward driving path; setting a closest effective event based on a current position among the at least one effective event as a first candidate event; determining whether at least one second candidate event corresponding to an event needed to be followed is present among remaining effective events except for the first candidate event of the at least one effective event; and, when the at least one second candidate event is present, determining a target event among the first candidate event and the second candidate event in consideration of a control start point.
Antenna for an implantable device
An implantable device for deployment inside a human or animal body, the device comprising at least one sensing component arranged to respond to an electrical signal having a known frequency band and at least one antenna comprising at least one antenna pole connected to the at least one sensing component, the antenna pole comprising at least one helical coil and a connecting stem.
Method and battery management system for operating a traction battery in a motor vehicle and motor vehicle having such a battery management system
A method for operating a traction battery in a motor vehicle, wherein the traction battery is charged in a charging operating state with a fast-charging device. A quantity of energy to be recharged at the fast-charging device is specified. An anticipated heating of the traction battery is determined depending on a charging capacity, which, taking into consideration a predeterminable maximum charging time, is determined from the quantity of energy that is to be recharged. A starting temperature (T.sub.start) for the battery charging is determined in such a way that, after the charging operation has been carried out at the fast-charging device, a battery operating temperature (T.sub.batt) of the traction battery does not exceed an upper limit (T.sub.hi) for the battery operating temperature. The battery operating temperature (T.sub.batt) is recorded during a driving operating state of the motor vehicle.
System, and method for swapping self driving energy module for an energy management system
A system includes energy modules that output power to an energy management bus based on load demands. An energy module includes energy cells enclosed within a module housing that provide power to the energy management bus and a driving system attached to the module housing that transports the energy module. The energy module includes a local controller that controls power output from the energy cells to the energy management bus, engages a self-driving mode in response to receiving a disconnection signal from a central controller, and controls movement of the energy module in the self-driving mode to a predetermined location via the driving system. The central controller receives a current module status from the energy modules and controls a configuration of the energy modules providing power to the energy management bus based on the current module status.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
An information processing device includes a control unit configured to determine whether to include a regenerative brake in specifications of a proposed vehicle based on regenerative brake operation data acquired while a first vehicle including the regenerative brake is traveling in a predetermined area. The proposed vehicle is a vehicle proposed as a vehicle for a customer to drive in the predetermined area.
Control Unit and Method for Conditioning an Energy Store of a Vehicle
A control unit for a vehicle includes an electric energy store for storing electric energy for an electric drive machine. The control unit is designed to determine that the vehicle is driving to a charging station in order to charge the energy store. In response to the determination, the control unit is additionally designed to initiate one or more usage-neutral or usage-reducing measures while the vehicle is traveling in order to reduce the temperature of the energy store in preparation for the charging process of the energy store.
Method for operating a motor vehicle and motor vehicle
A method for operating a motor vehicle. At least one electric engine designed for driving the motor vehicle is used to recuperate electric energy. In this case, a travel of the motor vehicle during a period of time lying ahead is taken into account. During the use of at least one electric engine for recuperating the electric energy, it is taken into account whether during a thermal load of the at least one electric engine in the period lying ahead, a reduction of the power that can be output by at least one electric engine is to be expected. The at least one electric engine then recuperates an amount of electric energy during the deceleration of the motor vehicle which is smaller than the amount of electric energy that can be recuperated during the deceleration by the at least one electric engine. The invention relates in addition also to a motor vehicle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING SPEED
A system and method for adjusting an electric vehicle charging speed that include determining that an electric vehicle arrives at a charging station and receiving electric vehicle pricing data associated with a price to charge the electric vehicle at a plurality of charging speed tiers by the charging station. The system and method also include determining a price difference between the price to charge the electric vehicle at a fast charging speed tier and a slower charging speed tier. The system and method further include adjusting the electric vehicle charging speed to the fast charging speed tier upon determining that the price difference is equal to or below a charging price delta threshold.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRESENTING ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING OPTIONS
A system and method for presenting electric vehicle charging options that include determining a current geo-location of an electric vehicle and determining a current state of charge of a battery of the electric vehicle. The system and method also include determining at least one charging station that is within a remaining distance that the electric vehicle is capable of traveling based on the current geo-location of the electric vehicle and the current state of charge of the battery of the electric vehicle. The system and method further include presenting a charging station map user interface that pin points the current geo-location of the electric vehicle and the at least one charging station.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CHARGING OPTIONS BASED ON ELECTRIC VEHICLE OPERATOR ACTIVITIES
A system and method for providing charging options based on electric vehicle operator daily activities that include analyzing data associated with daily activities of an operator of an electric vehicle and determining at least one travel routine and at least one perspective travel plan that is completed by the operator of the electric vehicle based on the daily activities. The system and method also include determining a current geo-location of the electric vehicle. The system and method further include presenting an electric vehicle charging planner user interface that presents at least one perspective travel path to the at least one predicted point of interest.
