A system for illuminating an area around a motor vehicle, having: a pair of radar systems and a pair of lighting systems mounted on the motor vehicle; a vehicle level sensor configured to detect changes in pitch or roll of the motor vehicle; and an illumination control system in the motor vehicle. The illumination control system includes a key fob communication system and determines the location of a person by detecting the person approaching the motor vehicle by detecting the presence of the key fob while also detecting the location of the person with a radar system mounted on the vehicle. Next, when the location of the person has been determined, the illumination system lights up the area the person is standing while following movement of the person with the radar system to continuously re-directing the illumination towards the location on the ground where the person is standing as the person moves.

A rear light unit of a vehicle is provided. The rear light unit includes an array of first light sources, arranged angularly offset along a first inner circumferential arrangement region, and an array of second light sources, arranged angularly offset at least along a second outer circumferential arrangement region concentric to the first inner circumferential arrangement region of the first light sources. An illumination system and method of ground and other illuminating that comprises a plurality of sensors that scan/detect the exterior area around the vehicle and at least one controller, the system selectively turning on/off a series of lighting elements placed strategically around the vehicle to allow light to be directed to at least one ground or other surface at the persons at all times or any predetermined time. A controller is provided to activate ground lighting in coordination with sensor signals identifying where an individual or object are located in predetermined proximity to the vehicle.

A small-sized vehicle-mounted projector light system including an illuminating module having a light source, a collimating lens and a film arranged in sequence, and an imaging module; the imaging module includes a curved reflector being a concave mirror with positive focal power, and a first imaging lens. The main optical axis of the illuminating module passes through the reflective surface of the curved reflector, on one side of which the first imaging lens is positioned. The invention ensures an appropriate size of an one-way dimension, no consequence of the limited space within automobile structure during installation and design, and conveniency for arrangement; the curved reflector has positive focal power and can perfect focusing, not only ensuring good projection effect, but also decreasing the number of lenses with positive focal power in the system, and effectively reduce the volume and weight of the system.

A vehicle lighting device includes: a first optical system including a light source and a first lens; a second optical system including a light source and a second lens; and a housing configured to house the first optical system and the second optical system. The first optical system is configured to illuminate an interior of a vehicle. The second optical system is configured to display predetermined information to the outside of the vehicle.

A control method of a lighting apparatus for a vehicle may include: sensing, by a sensing unit, a distance between the vehicle and a pedestrian; determining, by a control unit, whether the distance between the vehicle and the pedestrian falls within a first distance; determining, by the control unit, a walking direction of the pedestrian when the distance between the vehicle and the pedestrian falls within the first distance; and indicating, by the control unit, the walking direction to the pedestrian by operating a plurality of flap units.

The invention relates to an image playing system and an image playing method. The image playing system includes a projection device. The projection device includes a storage circuit, a processor, and a projection module. The storage circuit stores a playing content including at least one multimedia content, a play time length and a play order corresponding to each multimedia content. The processor obtains the playing content from the storage circuit in response to receiving the power signal. The projection module is controlled by the processor and sequentially projects the multimedia content according to the play time length and play order corresponding to each multimedia content.
