A bulk transport vehicle cleaning system is provided and includes a storage compartment having walls and an inlet and an outlet, a vacuum unit movably attached to an inner surface of at least one of the walls of the storage compartment, wherein the vacuum unit is configured to move along the inner surface and suction residual material and dust from the inner surface, a filter system connected to the outlet and a vacuum generator connected to the filter system, wherein the vacuum generator generates a vacuum within the storage compartment of the bulk transport vehicle so that air flows from the inlet of the storage compartment toward the vacuum generator, and wherein the filter system removes material and particles from the air.

The present concept is a rail wheel cleaning system which includes a base support plate, an adjusting assembly mounted on the base support plate, a sliding assembly configured to co-operatively engage with the adjusting assembly, and a shoe assembly mounted onto the sliding assembly and configured to be engage-able with the rail wheel at a preselected level for cleaning the rail wheel. Preferably the adjusting assembly includes an adjustment rod which is configured to operably move the sliding assembly in a transverse direction when the rod is moved in a longitudinal direction. Additionally preferably the adjusting assembly includes a wedge with an inclined wedge face, and the adjustment rod includes an inclined rod face configured to slide-ably engage with the wedge face, such that when the rod is urged in a tighter direction the sliding assembly is urged in an outward direction thereby increasing the impingement of the shoe assembly on the rail wheel.

The invention relates to a vehicle body wash system comprising: a spray device for spraying a wash fluid on the body, the wash fluid comprising magnetic applicators; and a magnetic field generator, able to set the magnetic applicators in motion such that they rub the body.

A train wash (1) for washing a train is described. The train wash comprises a water supply tank, for holding water for washing the train, a heater, for heating the water in the water supply tank, one or more water jets (14), for directing water from the water supply tank onto a side of the train, one or more rotatable brushes (4), for brushing against a region of the train onto which water is being or has been directed by the water jets, a water recovery tray, for location beneath the sides of the train, for collecting water running down the side of the train, a recirculation system, for recirculating water in the water recovery tray back to the water supply tank for reuse, and a filtration system, for filtering the water being recirculated from the water recovery tray to the water supply tank.

Washing equipment for a vehicle includes at least one gantry defining a track for the vehicle, at least one nozzle supported by the gantry and intended to spray a cleaning liquid on the vehicle, and a helical profile that creates a helical rotational movement of the cleaning liquid relative to the gantry. The helical profile is suitable for ensuring the rotation of the cleaning liquid around the axis of the stream of cleaning liquid leaving the nozzle.

A method for thawing of a transport transporting bulk material includes providing water vapor, introducing water vapor into a thawing chamber. The transport transporting bulk material and to be thawed is at least partially located in the thawing chamber. Air loaded with the water vapor and having a preset dew point temperature T.sub.T is generated in the thawing chamber, and the dew point temperature T.sub.T is adapted to the transport transporting bulk material.
