A tolerance ring is interposed between an output side rotary shaft and a rotor shaft. For this reason, even in a case where a backlash formed in a spline fitting portion between the output side rotary shaft and the rotor shaft is not eliminated, the rotary shafts of both of the output side rotary shaft and the rotor shaft are held by the tolerance ring without a backlash, and rattling noise can be suppressed. An oil supply groove for supplying a lubricant between an annular portion of the tolerance ring and the output side rotary shaft is provided inside an annular groove formed in the output side rotary shaft. With this, it is possible to suppress degradation of the durability of the tolerance ring without performing special processing on the tolerance ring.
LOAD FLOOR HAVING SOUND ABSORPTION AND INSULATION PERFORMANCES FOR VEHICLE
A load floor for a vehicle, by which, as the load floor is manufactured by including manufacturing a honeycomb structure with paper and adding polyurethane sheets to both side surfaces of the honeycomb structure, light and sufficient structural stiffness and a sound absorption effect are obtained through the honeycomb structure. As the polyurethane sheets are respectively provided on both surfaces of the honeycomb structure, sound absorption and insulation performances are obtained to further increase a sound absorption and insulation effect.
FOOT-OPERATED PARKING BRAKE OPERATION DEVICE
A solution to reduce the ratcheting sound that occurs at the start of braking when an operation pedal is operated by foot. Because a mounting seat as a flat part and base plate are provided between a ratchet member and support axial center S of an operation pedal, there is a possibility that the ratchet member's vibration will propagate to the adjacent mounting seat and base plate, amplifying the ratchet sound. However, the adjacent mounting seat and base plate are provided with beads, having cross-sections that bend convexly in a direction substantially orthogonal to the vibration waveform of the ratchet sound produced by a pole coming into contact with serrations when the mounting seat and base plate maintain a flat plate shape; i.e., in a circumferential direction about support axial center S. Therefore, rigidity against the vibration is increased, propagation of vibration is minimized, and ratchet sound is effectively reduced.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENGINE CONTROL
Methods and systems are provided for synergizing the benefits of a variable compression ratio engine in a hybrid vehicle system. A vehicle controller may hold the engine in a lower compression ratio during engine pull-ups and pull-downs, in particular when passing through a low speed region where compression bobbles can occur. During engine operation, in response to a change in driver demand, the controller may opt to switch the compression ratio or maintain a current compression ratio while smoothing a torque deficit using motor torque, the selection based on fuel economy.
Cowl top garnish
A cowl top garnish includes a protruding portion that protrudes upward, with its top being situated at an upper position when a vehicle body is viewed in a lateral cross-sectional view. The protruding portion has a front segment that is disposed in along the width of the vehicle and extends from the top in a lower forward direction, and a rear segment that extends from the top in a lower backward direction. The protruding portion is an element having flexibility that allows the front segment and the rear segment to spread when a load acts on the protruding portion from above the top. The front segment has a projecting portion that projects toward the rear segment. The rear segment has a load receiving portion onto which the projecting portion abuts to receive the load when the load acts on the front segment in the backward direction.
